And these brands don't include hamburger buns?

Often times, they aren't big enough for hamburger buns without an excess of bread.

They come in a pack of four patties usually in the frozen section. Buy the hamburger bun separately.

I don't eat it with a bun though since I don't really eat bread. I just heat the patty and eat with rice.

    Wtf is a veggie patty?

Just buy portobello mushrooms and season it like you would a steak (brush with olive oil, sprinkle pepper, garlic powder, steak seasoning, tiny bit of soy sauce) grill it smooth side down and bam.

Please be mindful of your comments. Some people cannot eat mushrooms due to religious reasons.

The field roast at Whole Foods is possibly one of my favorite things to eat in this world. Check it out.

I'm not a vegetarian and don't think I've ever had a veggie burger, but for the last year or so my go-to breakfast (which sometimes doesn't take place until 1pm, because we're so busy on the site in the morning) has involved meatless crumbles.

You can season the hell out of them, pair them with an egg over very easy, warm flour tortilla, with a schmear of hummus on the tortilla. Delicious. Even with bacon in the house, sometimes, I'm going for the hippie-dippie crumbles.

Morningstar Grillers are good - the most "meaty"
Amy's California good vegie-like veggie burger
Sunshine brand - no soy, minimally processed, mostly brown rice and carrots and such
Hiary's Adzuki bean burger also minimally processed.

Veggie burger + toaster oven FTW

morningstar has the best products ever. The buffalo chicken(less)wings taste so good. If it's not chicken, what is it?

veggie bacon never tastes good no matter the brand.

People still caught up in the whole "red meat is bad for you" "well, it's okay if it's low-fat" thing give me a good chuckle.

Do yourself a favor, research the faulty research of Dr. Ancel Keyes, and live a little.

Pro tip: American portion sizes are way too big and you can eat pretty much whatever you want in moderation.

Back on topic: I've never eaten a veggie burger, but would side with those who believe that a real burger is healthier for you than most processed food nightmare-style veggie burgers. If you want to go veggie for moral or religious reasons, own it and don't do the fake meat.

Don't get veggie burgers, there's all sorts of delicious things you can make with vegetables without needing to do some crap meat substitute.

Then you obviously haven't had vegetables cooked correctly. Just the Southern American "boiled to hell" version of veges probably.

I agree with the others here. Those packaged ones are processed to death...that being said, I like the black bean Morningstar ones. Those are quite good.

But, if you search online for black bean burger recipes, you will get some seriously good stuff AND easy to make.
