    Well, the question was with which assets would they make a deal. Not whether Houston should.

    RoCo isn't coming here. If he were to, I can't but think the Wolves would want Houston to take back some garbage. I'd used Dieng in past examples, but really, I was trying to see if Wiggins could be moved here without moving James or Russ, or all of the rest of the team + players who could conceivably be moved.

    I did see a rumor that was probably wishcasting, of Chris Paul being traded for Wiggins.

    In what universe does this make the rockets better? Wiggins Roco for Capela Gordon already makes us worse, and you want to throw in picks?

    The Wolves would say yes to that, right? (Not saying the Rockets would.)

    And they'd say No to a straight Shumpert for RoCo S&T. So take away from the former offer and add to the hypothetical Shumpert offer, and see if somewhere in the middle, there's a combination of players and picks that both teams could agree to.

    I was only trying to see if the Rockets could take on Wiggins with RoCo without having to send back Harden, Tucker or WB, that Minnesota would likely agree to. Turns out they can. Terrible idea to do it, as you all have noted.

    To add a significant, non vet minimum role player though, the team is going to have to move one of the Gordon-Capela-Tucker-Shumpert pool, and probably from one of the first three players mentioned. It may be there isn't any role player available whose addition outweighs the subtraction of one of those key rotation Rockets players.

    So maybe I missed something, but why does Robert Covington of all people deserve this 4 letter nickname treatment? I guess “Roco” rolls off the tongue, but he’s not exactly a household name.
