Olympus would be a cool name for the arena.

Dell's from Austin right? Dell Arena doesn't sound bad.

If we keep playing the way we are at home, we might as well just call it "Kick our ****ing asses here."

Going with the energy theme, I think Dynegy Hall sounds really cool.

if reliant gets it that will be too confusing. every other city will be like umm how many reliant arenas are there in houston. the reason i'm thinking dynergy is from what i've heard they were very close to gettting the nfl stadium but reliant outbid them. should be a little cheaper for the basketball arena and they will probably go after it. please not galleryfurniture arena. that would be aweful

    How about American Airlines Palace?
since the Heat already play in American Airlines Arena and the Mavericks are going to play in American Airlines Center next season.

I vote for the Ikea center.

Michael Dell is from Houston, it would make sense, especially with Compaq (Compaq Center) being a competitor, but I don't think that will ever happen.

    Does Compaq have no interest?

It is really unfortunate that we have to put up with an arena named after some company. It really cheapens the whole experience. Seeing a game at Boston Garden carries a mystique that seeing a game at the Fleet Center will never manage. It'd be more satisfying to be a fan of a team that plays in an arena named in honor instead of for pay.

That said, I guess we're screwed, so let's see what we can salavge. I think, obviously, that the Gallery Furniture Arena would suck. But it has potential, if Mattress Mac were willing to compromise a little for the sake of class (not that he has any). How about simply The Gallery, or better yet, the Shooting Gallery?

    Dell is from Austin.

I dont see him chipping in for naming rights, Dell doesnt need that kind of advertisement.
