Does Adelman leaving make you hate anyone who doesn't hate Adelman leaving?

on defense end. he didn't make them focus on defense. what he did was to out score other teams.

 

I feel like a good portion of posters here, veteran or otherwise, just hates anyone who has a differing opinion from them.

 

he's certainly not jeff van gundy. but i have a difficult time believing our next coach is going to be an upgrade from rick adelman.

 

because that's what you do when you don't have defensive personnel. the complaints about defense are silly when you're playing a 6'6" center

Is Chuck Hayes responsible for the God-Awful Defensive rotations and lack of effort too?

 

So, this thread serves what purpose exactly? To show that fans of a team have varying or different opinions?

Or that we all don't agree, or that personality conflicts happen on this site, as in any conversation about a controversial subject in life/sports.

when your shooting guard is rail thin, and he gets bumped on a pick and roll, he is going to get moved out the way. now you may consider that lack of effort, i consider that playing with a 6'7" 160 pound shooting guard. that's what you get, on the other hand you got plenty of effort out of kyle lowry because its hard to move him from his set positions.

did ya'll think this was a defensive juggernaut waiting to happen...that somehow adelman held them back from being that?

k-mart never played defense anywhere. not here...not sacramento. we knew that going in. we also knew we had no height at all. adelman didn't build the defense-less lineup.

 

Come on now, he had Thabeet for half a year.

Kmart not playing defense is totally baseless at all. He's not shane battier, but compare his defense to Jose Calderon and he's freaking Dennis Rodman. Besides, based on statistics on the average we gave up as much pts on D with Kmart as Lee, so the conclusion is the man in the middle is the problem, not the SHOOTING guard slot.

 

6'6 did good job on defense, didn't he? he showed to the world what hard work and effort mean.

 

yeah, but its easier on the rest of the team if your center has legit size and is a shot blocking threat

secondly, and what if all your players were as offensively limited as chuck

 

do you honestly believe kevin martin is a good defender?

 

And that is shocking to you? Come on CX, I seriously doubt you are gathering any worthwhile feedback.

This just feels like an emotional train wreck, Adelman is gone, the organization chose to do that, it is understandable, but some people don't agree with the direction the organization is going, or has gone recently.

Doesn't mean people hate other fans because of it, more than likely they don't like the way others post, or show a lack of class or respect, that is what causes a personality rift, more than a differening opinion.

But, I believe you already knew that.

I believe he's never been held accountable for playing defense and has gotten away with it because he hasn't had a coach make him.
