I handle negativity when it's warrented, such as after a bad game. But to post "Our dismal homestand continues, we lose 2 out of 3." and "This is the only chance the Astros have to get a lead before they start going out and losing to the better teams in the national league." before the series even starts is just bitter and antagonistic. If they are so frustrating and grating, why watch?

No it isn't. But the flip side of that is that if the comments, be they negative or positive, don't seem to be based on any kind of fact then it's our right to call BS. I don't think any of us here are saying the Astros are world-beaters. But the fact is that the Astros are tied for first place as of today, so to come on here and say the their season is over and they have no shot is not being realistic.

DaDakota, you remind me of the Randy Quaid in Major League 2. That's not a bad thing - he's a die-hard Indian fan and when they start losing (he knows that they're better and that they're underachieving), he totally turns on them. They end up making the playoffs though and he jumps back on the bandwagon. I think they'll make the playoffs and the same will prove true with you.
