Doctors rally to save baby born with massive head

    Terrible thread title, and a very sad story.

    One of your biggest fears as an expectant parent is for your child to be deformed or sick. One of my aunts was born with water on the brain, and was mentally r****ded because of it. She passed away when she was in her 20s.

    As the father of a happy, healthy 11 month old boy, I can't even begin to imagine what those parents are going through. I hope Klaus makes it through this...

    Agreed on thread title. We're expecting our first in March and my only real anxiety is the thought of a defect or something else out of our control. I can't imagine what it's like for this family, and I hope I never have to.

    In San Antonio they chop up babies w swords, so ya, of course its no surprise. There is a thread on that SA ninja baby in this forum.

    no doubt.. an infant's skull is soft, but to expand to that size is unbelievable... the human body is one of the greatest inventions of all time
