It's sad that you feel the need to stop posting to appease the ignorance of some people. I hope that you reconsider and realize that hater's will always hate, it's who they are and not what they do! This message goes to everyone who hates on DR: On a lot of things, no one TRUELY knows what's going to happen until it happens. Not even Morey. Not even Les. Fact of the matter is, dude brought an extremely interesting perspective, and brought a lot of value to the board. Just because somewhere along the line, some people started expecting him to provide prophecies, does not mean that DR ever personally promised them. Why not take the perspective of a person and a fan with a lot of background, with friends who know things? That's more than a LOT of people bring to their posts. What do YOU bring that allows you to be such a critic?

It's the new Rockets fans, the young Rockets fans, the "LOFs" and the fans without any basketball experience (playing) that cause our great posters to finally leave this BBS. Yes, I blame those of you that know nothing about Hakeem other than his nickname and those of you that really think JLin is on the same level as Clyde or Eddie Johnson for that matter. I guess I shouldn't get into "join date" because there are are plenty of good posters that are true fans, but there is a positive correlation between the douchelords on this BBS and the time they joined RedNation. Just because YOU can't fathom that someone has ACCESS to this information and that he/she has to protect their identity doesn't mean the information isn't legit. The internet is a brilliant tool to do some research, idiots. Check Doc's previous posts when he gave us information, though crypted, about Rocket transactions. He's been accurate since day one. Even his SPECULATION IS BACKED BY INSIDERS after things have fallen through. In a simple sense, Doc makes this BBS even that more fun to be part of. Some of you just don't get it, and I despise the type of fans and "posters" that you are. You can doubt, but until you research, shut up. Seriously, it's like any job...if you don't have an understanding of the content, either learn, or shut up and listen. I read every one of Doc's posts, and I appreciate his willingness to share his information. For those of you that doubt him on all levels, what have information have YOU brought to Clutchfans? Oh, right, Absolutely NOTHING. You can't be penalized because you don't have access to what Doc does, but you shouldn't scrutinize every one of his posts because your job is limited to paperwork and has nothing to do with the NBA. Hell, mine doesn't either, but I know quality when I read it, and some of you jealous trolls just ruined a good thing. I guess you'd rather hear David Aldridge, Chris Broussard and Screamin' A. Go join the ESPN boards. Do us a favor. Doc is/was a good dude. He brought substance and excitement, along with accurate information and speculation. Some of you bring mediocrity, but you don't realize the jealousy screaming from your posts. If Doc was "wrong" all the time, Clutch wouldn't give him a platform to post in. That's just my opinion. I've been on here a long time and one of the other people you put on blast here is a 99er. Clearly this isn't a new age thing. I don't hate the guy and to his credit, someone else posted what he said on twitter here, not him. I think a twitter account is the perfect medium for him so whoever wants to hear what he has to say can just follow him. My only issue is that anyone who has paid attention long enough knows that Doc hasn't "hit" in a long time. For someone who is regarded as an insider, he has a pretty bad track record, like Chris Broussard bad. Most of all, what I can't understand is why this insider gets so defensive when he's been doubted. If he's a true insider, why would he care if anyone listens or not? The reaction he has to doubters is telling. Also, no one here is a "hater" so stop assigning that overused label on anyone who disagrees with you.
I'm real sorry to hear about Doc... But really, anybody here surprised by this outcome? We have a generation of haters and it will only get worse. Why? Absolutely NO freaking appreciation for history, only "what have you done for me lately" interest. That's the world we live in. That's the world of this board.
Sounds like if things were the way all people who start a riot over Doc's posts were, this forum would just be a link to Woj's twitter feed.
Haters, critics, skeptics, deriders... You can choose. Point is, he didn't set expectations that he's going to hit all the time (or even anytime). He didn't decide what it means to be an insider (who did?). He's not a journalist. He's sharing info that he has heard from reliable people with his fellow fans. Those are expectations that other people have put on him, quite unfairly, because many of those people who deride him don't provide ANY sort of information (qualified or not).
