the signs represent the positive/negative impact the player has on the roster at the end. Love is a positive, Lebron is a huge positive (multiplication), Lin and Jones are an addition by subtraction, Parsons is a loss, and Asik is a huge loss (division) because of the hole in our defense/center position

I've been reading the eat prey love thing as, "Eat our prey with Kevin Love." I see it as a the old line, you can either be the predator or the prey.
