I was kidding about Dragic, but you're right...in a way. The key word is IF. I don't think Morey would be doing all of this IF he wasn't sure he had a good chance of landing Will, Smith or GordON.

so we facilitate a dwight to LA for bynum...

he doesnt believe morey is moving up to draft drummond, only to trade him... moreys stats analyzation background doesnt support him draftin drummond for us to keep...


after all this i have came to my doc rocket guess and it is this....

we wont trade for dwight or sign dwill...
since he posted in josh smith thread we will recieve him via trade...
we will recieve bynum from LA in a deal that give them dwight...

I understand that but at this point not even Morey knows how this will turn out and if he will succeed, so I think Doc is too optimistic or sure.

Haven't been on the board much, but I must say it's been exciting. This Doc rocket post just adds to the excitement I had when I woke up this morning and saw an ESPN alert on my phone telling me the Rockets traded Bud for the 18th pick.

The only cryptic part of doc rocket's post I agree with is the "Will" comment. It makes too much sense not to mean Deron Williams. Well, I may agree with the "super happy" comment meaning Dwight also.

I just know that this offseason will finally give this team a direction, whether it be getting bonafide All-Stars like Dwight, DWill, or Josh Smith or drafting 3 young players and rebuilding. 3 1st round draft picks HAS to be a good thing, right? RIGHT?!?!

 

At this point, I'm wondering if maybe he WON'T be a rental. It seems like the Rockets are bending over backwards right now to get the Magic whatever they want for D12, and I understand that they kind of HAVE to....it just doesn't make complete sense to me that we would be willing to pass up on ALL that potential.....unless there is something legitimately cooking.

 

I honestly think this might happen. Id be happy with this Bynum.Bynum isnt happy ,smith wants to be a rocket ,and this makes us contenders for sure.Somethingwill happen I know it .We cannot have the Allstar game with out us having and allstar. Why is it assumed that Bynum is the player coming from LA?

Looks to me that Gasol would be more likely, since Gasol has been in trade talks for a year now...and Gasol is the player we targeted last season.

 

It's not D-Will. Notice the Terrence Ross clue followed immediately by "why would I want Ross?" It's . . . it's T-Will! Terrence Williams! He's coming back! And, yes, it IS weird!

we 'were' after gasol but we pony up the picks for bynum... gasol fits with dwight bynum does not... plus they couls maybe land dwill in a SnT for gasol...
