Hard pass for me, but don’t be surprised if we take a serious look at him.

We talk about the Rockets choking, so we should hire the biggest choke artist when it comes to coaches?

He has blown 3 3-1 leads. He has the most game 7 losses in coaching history. Look at the Clippers locker room when CP3, Blake, and DJ were there, and now with Kawhi and PG. Fractured, high levels of drama, and not being together.

What was the Clippers system this year? ISO for Kawhi and PG, and then PnR with Lou and Harrell. It got exposed come playoff time in addition to their “vaunted defense.” He had Kawhi and PG switching off Doncic time and time again so that he could slaughter the likes of Reggie Jackson and Morris. Why didn’t he put a stop to that? The Clippers are lucky Porzingis went down, or they might’ve choked in the 1st round instead of the 2nd.

Doc Rivers is a rah-rah/great speech coach, and a choke artist, so in short, no thanks, I’m good. We need adjustments, not motivational speeches.

Hard pass. I'll cry if we hire Doc. Imagine, hiring Doc for the remaining years of Harden's prime. I just can't.

I'm assuming they are going to hire Ty Lue for the Clips.

He whines more than any other coach in history... So I guess a coach that knows how to work the refs would be a good thing... But no!

For the ones that are salivating at the thought of Doc Rivers being the next head coach here, stop for a second and determine how frustrated you would be when (not IF) your Houston Rockets went up 3-1 in the WCF next season only to choke that all away. Think about how pissed off you would be when that happens. Now that you have that feeling in your head, step away from the ledge.
