I'd love to see more of Colussus in the future, but unfortunately if Magneto is going to be the main villain it seems Collussus is going to be damn near useless.
I loved it. So, who put Nightcrawler up to attacking the pres? Also, was Nightcrawler in the first one? I thought there was a kid who teleported when playing basketball.
That hasn't stopped them from playing up Wolverine. Is there a MORE overused character in comix? MAYBE Batman.
That movie was great! My brother and I saw it twice! It seems like everything has been mentioned already. I thought it was killer to that they laid the groundwork for the Phoenix saga! and the foreshadowing of Gambit and Hank McCoy was cool. Hopefully, Colossus has a bigger role next time too.. Can't say enough about this film. I really liked the first one but I thought X2 blew it away!
don't try downloading the movie off of kazaa or anything...believe me, i tried. now tell me, why would people disguise "orange county" as X2??

Does anyone else think that Multiple Man could be a really cool addition to X3? I was just thinking about this when I saw the new Matrix trailer....the technology is there to make multiple people look realistic. I'm going to X2 again this week sometime. Great flick!
OK ****SPOILERS**** in order to answer gr8-1 Nightcrawler had been captured by Stryker and made to attack the President so the Pres would back Stryker's plan to get rid of the mutants. Remember, Nightcrawler was talking about how he could see himself fighting in the Oval Office, but couldn't stop himself. Plus, he had that imprinted circle on the back of his neck like Deathstrike and Magneto had where Stryker dropped that brainwashing serum. ****END SPOILERS**** I don't know who the kid in X1 was. I thought he was Nightcrawler too, but the lack of tail and blueness threw me off. I don't know who he supposed to be.
Quicksilver needs to be the in the 3rd one. They can bring back Sabretooth (I hear he's contracted for X3) and Toad and maybe the Scarlet Witch so that there can be some tension between Magneto's daughter and Mystique. I can see a story where Gambit starts off as a member of the Brotherhood, but then joins the X-Men. Somebody said that Kitty Pryde was in Cerebro? No, that was a projection from Jason's mind, an illusion.
Huuuuge difference. Iceman is a mutant who can raise and lower the temperature of water molecules and his body. He keeps learning new stuff though, originally, he looked like a snowman, then later he was able to encase himself in ice, now he can turn his whole body into ice. *** Spoiler Talk *** I agree that Jason shouldn't have more brainpower than Professor X. I am guessing that if Stryker didn't put the headgear on Xavier that prevented him from using his mind powers, Jason wouldn't have had a chance.
I just went to see the movie last night and it was awesome! very pleased i never really followed the comic books so i am not as educated on the comics as some of you guy. i want to ask yall a question about the movie: the little circle on the back of some of the mutants necks (professor X, maneto, etc.) that stryker put that mind control substance on, what was that and do every mutant have those things?
The circle was a result of the mind control stuff. Did you notice how their skin fizzed when he put it on? I'm guessing it leaves a mark.
I think that scar/circle is from the substance that Stryker was using on them, seems like it was burning them. I don't think it's something they all have (sorta like the Matrix). Nightcrawler didn't know he had one until Storm/Jean Grey mentioned it to him, I think.
Good Point, makes sense. But if the headgear blocked Prof. Xavier, then how did Jason's mind control forces get through?
when professor X was being told to kill the mutants and all the mutants were hurting , why wasn't jason hurting?
