My fanhood has evolved to the point where I like the Houston Basketball Rockets more than the NBA in general; so much so, if the Rockets lose, it ruins the rest of my basketball watching day.

However, I can't just stop watching basketball cold turkey after the Rockets get eliminated.

I feel nothing even though history is being made before my eyes though.

Why would you not want to watch [usually] good basketball?

It seems many here don't watch other teams bball considering how they view many free agents and "mystery player's " as scrubs.

I have watched each nationally broadcasted playoff game this season

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I enjoy the rest of the league, but no emotional engagement with any of it.

    My interest falls significantly. . . ..
It is more like .. . if nothing else is on

I start watching more to see a certain person or team lose
    than rooting for a team

The Rockets are by far my favorite team but I'm a basketball fan first, so yes I don't miss a game when the Rockets are eliminated.

I watch to see teams I dislike be eliminated. In this case, I watched the conference finals but I have absolutely zero interest in the finals because both teams suck and I didn't want either one winning.

I don't even remember the last time I watched a game after the Rockets were eliminated. I have zero interest in watching teams that aren't the Rockets. Of course, this year I had zero interest in watching teams that were the Rockets too.

No. I masturbate to a blank TV while rubbing myself with unscented lotion.

I even watch other teams in RS so ofc I watch the playoffs of other teams. But there are some teams that I really dislike watching because of style of play like the Grizzlies and the Cavs and OKC and if they don't go too deep in the playoffs I don't watch them.

I only watch playoffs and finals for certain players I'm a fan of, can I watch other teams like I watch the Rockets? No.

My interest in the playoffs was very high until it became Warriors vs. Cavs.

Didn't watch one second of game 1 and don't plan on tuning in.
