Rather have Will Anderson and Calen Bullock. We missed on BT but we also hit on Lassiter, so I'm okay with it.
With Tank Dell I would have made the same decisions. I think Lassiter has a bigger impact on this team than Brian Thomas. And Bullock has been a Godsend for a historically weak position for us. Easier to hit on a WR next draft than CB in my opinion.
Yep, but they could've drafted Thomas and traded up for Lassiter, or even traded a 2025 1st to move up for Lassiter. Would you be willing to give up this years 1-25 if you knew you could end up with a 2024 draft of BTJ/Lassiter/Fisher/Bullock? Say Warren falls to the early/mid 2nd rd, would you trade a 2026 1st if you knew you could draft say Tre Harris/ Donovan Jackson with the traded pick/ and Harold Fannin Jr in the 1st/2nd rds?
Ofc knowing what we know now it's worth it. But people would have been livid if they had traded a 2025 1st to move up for Lassiter. I think people was already questioning if the Texans had reached for Lassiter during the draft.
Agreed, but the question is would you make a move like that this year? That's if you could get Harris/Jackson/Fannin?
Herschel Walker for: RB: Emmitt Smith DT: Russell Maryland DB: Clayton Holmes CB Kevin Smith S Darren Woodson 2 HOF, ++ John Elway for: OT Chris Hinton QB Mark Hermann OL Ron Solt
And 2 guys that were in the top half of players at their positions at the time. (Maryland/Smith) Holmes was a really god player before the addiction issues ruined his career.
Spoiler Yeah twitter rando is lying. Many didn’t want him back at the time and damn sure 100% no one wanted him back this year. But same as it ever was.
