Last night vs. the Grizz, during the 3rd and 4th quarters when nothing was going right, I was thinking:

'Now would be the perfect time for Francis to enter the game and save this game'...

Dude, it's called having a backbone. Adleman's got money. He isn't crying for financial security. Coaches of his stature have some clout as to their playing rotation.

Coach has the power to play his players. If he still loses with or without Francis, his job is in jeopardy.

Obviously Francis is being held to high standards because he has to learn that the Rockets belong to Yao/McGrady. I think that Francis still thinks that the Rockets are his team.

I'd like to see him play at least a few minutes a game. I mean, he can't be much worse than Alston. The defense has to respect Francis because they all know he's a proven scorer. That ought to help Yao and TMac get better shots without always being swarmed. The defense doesn't respect Alston.

IM GONNA GET THIS OUT THERE ONCE AND FOR ALL

"It's not that Steve is terribly out of shape. He might not have been in as good a playing shape as the guys that beat him out, but that was six weeks ago."

See he is not out of shape. It is just how long will RA let his players work through this Rafer been in the slump 2 years he is not gonna change. If you guys read all the comments against Johnathon Feign they all agree it has been too long

it's kind of disappointing how aaron brooks did better than steve in fight for the role...

    who knows??

steve should've considered that he wasn't going to cut it here, whatever he had at new york and orlando...

    wait and see

and hope that he gets in shape!!

I don't feel like drudging through ANOTHER Steve Francis thread, but anyone would be seriously biased if they didn't want to see what Steve could do considering how badly Rafer, MJ, and Luther have played in the past few games. Good god, let him get a few minutes...if giving him a few minutes is going to blow a game for us then we aren't really that good.

    Dear Santa,

I have been a good boy lately. Here's what I want for Christmas (from least to most wanted).

    5. Steve starts.

    4. Steve and Bonzi starts

    3. Steve starts, AB becomes the backup and Bonzi starts

    2. rafer breaks his foot and out for the season. Steve starts, AB back up.

    1. rafer breaks his neck and never plays a single minute of basketball for the rest of his life. Steve starts, AB backup.

    Thank you Santa.

Let's fire Adelman and bring in Don Nelson. That way, we have a coach who plays any player regardless of his poor attitude and lack of conditioning. His style of ball is excting too.

The team will suck and Yao and Tmac's talent will be wasted but at least guys like Francis will get a chance to throw down some sweet dunks and turn the ball over 6 times a game!!!
