I think Morey, Les, and Ricky need a little "sit down." This is becoming a distraction and a PR nightmare. Good grief, how hard is it to just run him out there for a few minutes? The other guards can't throw it in the ocean. How worse can he be, he can't. At this point, a little sister of the poor is an upgrade.

I'm not a Ralston fan by any stretch, but that is just ridiculous. Ralston doesn't turn the ball over. Steve playing badly... kills us.

Alston and James were playing as bad as you could possibly play. How would it hurt at all to put in Francis? If he plays terrible, then it wouldnt really matter, because the other guards have played terrible anyway, so no difference. I dont understand why we cant just let him play and see how he does.

The fact of the matter is that steve should have been getting playing time in the start of the season. I was shocked when i found out that he hadn't even made the rotation. As Rockets fans i'm sure you all have noticed our "It's Time" billboards and advertisements. My question is where is Rafter on those billboards?? I can see the big two, Scola, James, battier and most of all i see Steve Francis. Bottom line, he deserves playing time and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Everyone is afraid of him turning the ball over and him trying to be an all star on the court. However I believe that he is well aware of his role in this team. From the beginning he has be saying that he knows that the situation is different now, and he understands his role in this team and and most of all he wants very much to have a positive impact on this team. For all you fans that have FRANCISPHOBIA, don't be afraid, i think its a whole lot more scary the way our recent guards have been playing. IT'S TIME, I WANT STEVE! (not in a gay way, i just want him to get some playing time).

Exactly, how can he do any worse than Rafer and Mike are right now. If he does good, than the team benefits, if he stinks it up like Mike and Rafer are, then sit him back on the bench, but I can't see how he could do any worse than Rafer and Mike.

Playing every single available player except Francis is supposed to tell us that there is no agenda here? C'mon!

Competition makes improvement. No free lunch for players who played poorly.

I dont want fans to chant Francis into the team. He needs to earn playtime on his own.

When Francis does see the court this year(be it tomorrow, next week, next month, whatever) it will be because Adelman has seen enough from him during practice to warrant him playing. When that happens, I hope Steve takes advantage of the opportunity and makes Adelman remove someone else from the lineup permanently. Because if Stevie is forcing someone out of the lineup, that means he is playing better than said someone and that makes the Rockets better.

But he MUST tone down his turnovers and overdribbling (which may be what is happening in practice to keep him on the bench) which were the big negatives that we knew of coming in.
