Nets and for Harden to either score 40-50 or put the clamps on so he struggles.

They must stay focused and keep their eye on the prize.

I root for the Rockets to win in every game. But if they lose, I acknowledge it is one more game that helps towards a top 4 pick potential.

Secondarily, I am rooting for Harden and the Nets to win a championship.

I'm really struggling with this poll. I think this game means more to the Rockets than it does to the Nets for obvious reasons so I really want to pull for my team to win. Came in here to finally place my vote for the Rockets, but as I type I talk myself out of it lol.

My fear is that beating Harden and a team as good as Brooklyn could be a galvanizing win and then they start misguidedly thinking they have a shot to make a run at the playoffs again. You saw how guys like Wall and Gordon were talking after a mere 6 game winning streak against bad opponents. Wall thinks he's a franchise player and Gordon and Oladipo probably view themselves as All-Star caliber players. They may attempt to use this as a rallying point to turn the season around and the front office may be less likely to hit the full reset button with trades. They may start believing again with a feel-good win going into the All-Star break. That is the bigger risk than the win itself.

If we lose by 30, I'll probably look back at this post and feel foolish for even thinking we could beat the Nets with the way we've been playing, but this is the NBA and crazier things have happened. You know they will at least be motivated and focused, but can they play as a unit long enough for 1 game to finally pull out a win?

I think I won't REALLY know how I feel until we are well into the game and I notice who I'm rooting for to make shots and who to get defensive stops.

I will always want the Rockets to win no matter who they are playing.
