Somehow, I think this song fits in....weird. What we need, is a good defense.....but offense is needed too.

I see, so for you it makes a difference if the Rockets are down 120-100 rather than 70-60?

    Terriffic.

It's not about pretty or ugly. Just ask the Mavs. It's about most effective.

It's easy to turn on your team at halftime of the most important game of the season when we're down 10. That way you have a bunch of people to support your view and it makes you feel better.

Aren't you using only a microscopic view of what he actually said? If you think this whole series has been anything but ugly, you need to set an appointment up with your optometrist.

This kind of basketball is far from being the most efficient.

Oh and game 7 of this series is not a microscopic view of JVG?

Listen man, I'm frustrated. I shouldn't have made that comment to AGbee.

We're all frustrated. But if there's anything I know and I'm sure we agree on, it's that there's nothing worse than someone raining negativity at the most sensitive point in the season.

It's fine to discuss JVG's credentials rationally. But we know for a fact that rationality won't rear its head into a conversation about JVG, or any Rocket for that matter, right now.

I respect your opinions if you think JVG is not the right coach for this team overall. But this is a horrible time to bring it up so the credibility of the claim is hit HARD.

9 seconds to go...down 2 and he tells the team not to foul to go for the steal.

GET THE HADES OUT OF HOUSTON JVG !!!! TAKE YOUR SORRY BUTT OUT OF HERE.

Utah was over the limit on fouls with 7 minutes to go

    We had an 85-80 lead

Why are we settling for jumpers?

That is something the coach should have made very clear to his team. You drive the ******* ball in. You either get the bucket or get fouled. Worst case is that you miss the shot and it's a short rebound.

If it's not the right time to discuss Van Gundy's status with the Rockets after another 1st round exit, then I don't know when the right time is.

    F*CK JVG

    F*CK HIM F*CK HIM F*CK HIM.

    LOSER COACH.
    NO OFFENSE.
    NO ADJUSTMENTS.
    STUBBORN ASS GOAT.
    DOESN'T PLAY HIS PLAYERS STRENGTHS.
MUST HAVE PLAYERS MOULD TO HIS COACHING STYLE.
DOES NOT DEVELOP YOUNG PLAYERS OR HIS BENCH PLAYERS.

HE HAS A .500 RECORD IN THE PLAYOFFS. HE IS NOT THE COACH TO LEAD US TO THE FINALS.

HE DOES NOT USE T-MAC AND YAO TO THEIR UTMOST POTENTIAL.

HATE HIM HATE HIM HATE HIM.

WE ARE SICK OF YOU. F*CK YOU JVG. GO AWAY!!!!!!

I hope for the owners sake JVG does not want to come back. This will make it easy for everyone.

JvG didn't do bad with the regular season but his offense is just bad. It's bad and when the defense failed. It was bad.

It's unfortunate they are not going to the 2nd round. Charles is laughing loud and hard just about now. TMAC is weak and Yao is not the man.

I like JVG as a person and a I love a lot of things about his coaching. He is a true pro. however, I just dont think I can tolerate another year of this frustration, we have to see if someone can better utilize Yao/Tmac

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Our offense and the players surriunding Yao and tmac are ridiculouly pathetically awful, and it is due to JVG. a guy like Nellie would have played vspan and novak and snyder, f it, just play em who gives a $hit, and we would have been a lot better off. We need aguy that can develop some damn talent. span, novak, snyder.

JVG now has been with the team for 3 years, and in this time, we have yet been taken to the next level where we are legitimate contenders. When comparing our teams to the likes of the Suns/Spurs/Mavs, one can see a huge gap in terms of both talent and game planning, and although JVG can't be blamed entirely, he does play a huge role.

When comparing our team's offense to the rest of the playoff teams, its like going to the dentist...it hurts. Even if we were to have won today, at our current level, I doubt we would have been able to make it much further. I think JVG has a done a decent job for our team, but now would be a perfect time for some change.

So JVG is gonna come off the bench and knock down open jumpers and dive for loose balls????? Say what you will about JVG, but the players play the game.....and EXECUTE the plays in order to win the game.
i'm not real happy about how this season's turned out, but JVG did about as good a job as any with the team he had, ESPECIALLY with Yao out for almost 1/3 of the season......

What a load of bunk, step away from the JVG Kool Aid....the guy has serious problems, did he do an ok job, yes he did.

Would another coach have gotten more out of this team......I think so.....but there is no way to say one way or the other.

But, I am fairly certain that another coach would have recognized Yao can't guard anyone on the perimeter and mixed in some zone, and I am pretty sure that another coach would have realized perimeter footspeed and athleticism was a problem and played Synder and V-Span.

JVG is part of the problem...not the whole problem but a big problem nonetheless.

Oh, and I am pretty sure another coach would have fouled right away with 9 seconds left....and down only 2.

    JVG - GONER !!
