Right.....I guess everyone has to have a label around here. So if I type something negative about Tracy I'm a TOH if I type the same about Yao that would make me a what? YOH? Right? What my opinion is about a certain player is based on said players actions. Whoever it is. Just because I just recently joined doesn't mean I haven't been a Rockets fan for long.

It never ends does it. This is why I was so reluctant to join, everything I type doesn't even register. Have fun with your site.

How can you be a rox fan and not care about the team first? Ask Yao this questions and I guarantee you he'd say team first. This site is called Clutchfans not Clutchyao by the way. I love the big guy as much as anyone, he's my fav player on the team, and like to see him play well every night but if they traded him tomorrow I'd still be a rox fan first and always. A very mad one, but still a rox fan first.

as long as Yao still in Rockets, I will put team first no question.

if yao leave, i will put Yao's team 1st, Rockets 2nd.

Yao already a top10 superstar, personal stats means nothing w/o team wins.

This poll is not about how fans react about the wins and Yao's individual stats. The poll is used as a cover to attack certain group of people. You do not have to respect anyone here, but please do not get Yao's name involved in such dirty thread.

This forum is getting dirty and ugly. And you are one of those contribute to it heavily.

    some additions,

However for Yi, I care about his personal development a bit more. He is in a crap
team anyway. Although I am not a big fan of Yi at all.

If Rockets in a rebuild mode, I think many of us also will care about our rookie stars more than team record. Oh, do care, the worse the better.

What kind of stuppppppppiddddddddd thread is this ??

I admit unbashfully most of my answers to your questions are YES !!

But that does not mean I will weigh/value Yao Ming's individual performance more over the win of the Rockets.

Tell me what's use of Yao Ming scoring 40/20/7/7 if the Rockets lost?

The same applies to what's the fuzz about TMAC scoring 30+/10 while Yao Ming only got 12/12?

Does it mean that he now completely gels back into the motion offense of Rick Adelman? Does it mean he is back 100% with his body/knee/back? Does it mean he got his passion, energy and heart back?

What is important is the Rockets won.....and the team is now 7 games above 0.5, and is vying for a playoff spot in the ultra tough Western Conference.

At the start, I had become a Rockets fan because of Yao, but I'm fairly certain that even if Yao leaves this team, I'll continue to support it and the team whichever Yao has gone to. As for individual stats to team wins, I value team wins over anybody's stats.

Only a Yao hater would make a poll like this

This poll is basically saying "I hope Yao fails, but I'm going to mask this by pretending I value the success of the team"

Yao's dominance has always heavily influenced this team's chance. If Yao's playing like crap, we're most likely losing anyway

the poll is too extreme. i think most yofs also root for the rockets to win because they know basketball enough to realize that if rockets lose, yao's a loser too. but they probably aren't as excited if rockets win but yao's irrelevant in the game. but then if yao's a scrub player that's a consistent non-factor, there wouldn't be yofs in the first place like there weren't any wang zhizhi only fan or bateer only fan. so in short, yofs value both equally. :D

    If you really think so......

Then I'll leave this forum PERMANENTLY !!

The owner of YMM is offering me $$$$ for all my work but on condition that they will be exclusive for YMM.

I turned him down and I'm bringing you guys here all those work of mine so as to be able to share with all Yao Ming and Rockets fans, as I had been doing this for 3 to 4 years now on both Clutchfan and YMM site.

I did not just come here to Clutchfan site because the YMM site is dead.
