I would rather see Yao have success than see myself having success.

    exactly.

i would trade yao and/or tmac in a second if it meant a guaranteed championship.

YOF's would be pissed that the rockets traded him.

I am very displeased and not very happy after tonite game.. Tmac was very mean to Ming nad he tried to get his teammate to iso Yao very often .. he also messed up Yao's rhythm because he forced him to shoot the ball right when he passes it to him so Tmac can get the assist, without caring about Yao's positioning or post movement, seriously, he should stop forcing Yao to shoot in order to get the assists..

also, Tmac sucks .. he is a poor man's Ime Udoka .. we should waive him or trade him for an expiring contract so he doesn't mess up Yao's team..

DON'T be fooled people!! he isn't that good!! against bucks he just had OK game because the depth perception was tricky and only helped him, but it was the reason why Yao didn't play well.. IMO, every body should adjust depth perception so Yao can get his stats regardless of Rox win or lose!! wait until next game and she mac will be back to the old MeMac that gets injury every time!!!!! then Yao will dominate 2nd best center in NBA Bogut who got very lucky tonight because Chuck Hayes didn't allow Yao to play defense like he prefers..

If I was YOF, I would be happy seeing Yao got traded, as I believe there are quite a few good teams above us will love to take him. Only ROFs will not like to trade him coz we know how Yao means to this team. I am not saying you are not a ROF, coz you know no team is gonna be guaranteed championship.

Wow is all can say.....when I joined I thought this was a Rockets fan forum. No players statistical numbers should ever be above the team. In a perfect world Yao and Tracy would shot over 50%,have triple doubles everynight the Rockets would be 98-0 and win it all. I the real world where real Rockets fans live it doesn't matter if Rafer goes for fiftty as long as it's W. Theres plenty of room here for real fans care to join us?

Hey just because I call it like I see it doesn't make me any less of a fan. That easily could be Yao on my sig if I felt he did the same thing.

Actually we wouldn't care less if the Rockets traded him cuz all we care about are his stats.

Yeah I answered yes to all those questions.

Curious what the purpose for this thread was?

Was someone po'ed on the game thread about Yao's 12/12 tonite even though they won?

Well whoever is mad about that should realize that Yao was pretty much double-teamed the whole game. Even w/o the ball, another defender was obviously cheating towards him. 12/12 is a pretty solid game considering - and they won. Good to see TMac have a big game.

Coming from a TOH - seems like you're operating under false pretenses there buddy. I mean, can you make your sig any larger?

The only thing I don't value is Tmac's lucky shots because he can't make the same shots in the playoffs.

That's a pretty ignorant statement considering that plays out of his mind in the playoffs. Why don't you go back watch those playoff series again, my man.

Believe it or not, there were people here before Yao, talking about Rockets and debating - without the tons and tons of hate being spewed at people. Without those people, there wouldn't be a forum for the YOFs to come to and call t-mac shemac.

And believe it or not, this team won two rings before Yao. And it probably will win rings after Yao is gone. That's what you don't understand....the city and franchise is bigger than anyone player. Because it's part of the history of this city, of people's lives growing up here, and of all the great players who have come out.

To put Yao above the Rockets is to put Yao above Hakeem, Clyde, and Calvin...of Hayes, Moses, and even guys like Rudy T.

You don't have to be a Rockets fans, but read the url man - it's clutch fans, not Yao fans. Show some respect.

Yao's individual success automatically includes a team win. You can not seperate them. So the options are not set correctly.
You can only ask 'which situation do you feel better: Yao has a bad game but the team wins, or Yao has a great game but the team loses?'
My answer to such a question would be 'the team win'. Yao has already proved himself to be a star level player. And every player has his ups and downs. So one or two bad games doesn't hurt him at all. On the other hand, Yao desperately wants to go deep into the palyoffs, and now the Rockets has some problems in the standings. So a team win is of most importance at this point, both for the team and Yao.

Someone who constantly finds an excuse to hate t-mac....you can spot them because they usually put really loud obnoxious sig's that bash one of the star players from the team they supposedly support.
