if we already had a lottery pick, and that plus Reed got us a top 7 pick, I’d definitely do that.

    This isn't the NFL.

No one is trading their top 5 picks for any of our players because in the NBA having one superstar player completely changes your fortune.

The thing is, a team would do it for SGA or Edwards or something...but then why would those teams trade those players? Exactly. So it rarely ever happens.

There is a greater chance that some random superstar gets traded because they ask out. That happens about every year or so and right now that is the Rockets best chance at a star player. Basically, a star player demanding out and the Rockets have the assets to make the trade.

What don’t you get man, I’ve explained it 17 times and it has nothing to do with hate.

If we had Lauri Markanen or Brandon Ingram instead I would think we should trade them too.

Jabari’s age, height, contract, and shooting ability isn’t a secret, all that would obviously be baked in to any trade discussion.

We’re still in star swing stage. I’ve watched every game. Speed and skill is a superior team advantage to height. The team that is more comfortable with the ball and makes the other team uncomfortable when they have the ball wins.

Age 22 is peak speed and athleticism, other stuff will improve but this is the level of athlete he is, that’s not changing.

While Jabari looks great on shot release and looks good on the occasional recovery block. You are making a trade off with him and sacrificing speed, passing, fluidity, coordination, and athleticism throughout the game. There’s a big opportunity cost.

We all know the team sucks, why is the idea of trading a 4 year starter who’s been the one constant through our 4 years of stagnant shitty offense, has never won a single playoff game while playing starter minutes in 10 opportunities now, is the most uncomfortable with the ball player on the court for a team with a historic melt down reputation, doesn’t guard the other teams best players, AND HAS TRADE VALUE. Why isn’t that something worth discussing.. what if your emotions after he makes a shot and opinions on TS% are wrong.

Reed plus Suns pick if we can get a bonafide POINT GUARD first rounder.

KD AND Jabari? lol that’s about 70 million dollars worth. So we are getting 70 million dollars worth of trash filler contracts back? Common now

Bulls might bite on a Eason + 27th 1st rd Suns Pick for Okuro and 26' 15 pick.

Okuru and Eason about 10ppg game.

Are you kidding? The Sun's pick plus Reed for this year's number one would be a complete steal.

I would try to get back into the 1st round of this draft, but I wouldn't be optimistic but getting anything better than a late 1st rounder. I might see if there's anyone we really like at the beginning of the 2nd round actually and see about trading up from our two SRPs and/or using some of our veteran roleplayers as ammo for that.

The only way I could see getting into the top 5 would be if we traded Amen to a team like the Pacers or the Jazz that could really use his defensive talent and are potentially trying to compete next season. Even that might not be enough, it probably depends on how those teams feel about Amen's upside and his chances of reaching All-NBA status. Would I do that?

    Ehhhhhh
