Do you think Yao should join the broadcast team?

    I agree. As much as I like Clyde and what he has done for Houston, I thought Van did a very good job of breaking down the games from a coaching perspective. Maybe watching basketball all of my life has made me long for more basketball intelligent announcers, especially those who have either coached or are well-versed in the game (i.e. Bullard). Either way I'm not sure how Yao would work out as far as being an announcer. I mean his sense of humor would easily make the game more fun to watch but people may find it more difficult to understand him. Not saying his English isn't up to par but announcers do need to be clear and concise. It would be fun though to have him sit down during a segment of one game with a headset like they do on Monday Night Football. Either way, it would be nice to get the big fella involved in some way especially in the playoffs.
