VC in his first six Toronto season had first ballot hall of fame potential, without injuries and disillusionment.

Rudy Gay will be lucky just to get his team to the playoffs. Though, I suspect the Raptors are a sleeper team with all of that young talent around bursting out, like Derozan, Lowry, Valanciunas, and Johnson. Really, the Raptors remain a good coach away from being a playoff contender.

Glad to see the poll is in line with such a ridiculous question.

The iverson vs Vince series was nuts, no way Gay can reach his legacy...

Vince was big time for his first 6-7 seasons. He came in a pretty refined all-around player which was rare for the iso-centric generation. After that horrible 04-06 stretch he just didn't seem to get better at basketball with his athletic decline.

Rudy is an average small forward who hasn't gotten better, big difference.

Horrible stretch ? You must be kidding. Actually, his 2nd best season was in 05-06 where he scored 27 PPG. VC was awesone even in 2006. He scored 25.2 PPG in '06. I remember him from his Nets days and he was just amazing.

    '06: 24.2 PPG
    '07: 25.2 PPG
    '08: 21.3 PPG

He really started declining once he got traded to the Magics.

Reached and far surpassed Durant's level, in salary and shot attempts. And that's about it

Do you think Rudy Gay can be memorable in Sacramento as Mitch Richmond was?
