No. I do not think Morey should be fired. I do, however, suspect that the vast majority of people who do are mouth breathers.

Not yet. Wait til the season starts and judge the roster at that point. This summer will be his last chance, or it should be, at least.

After his deal for Dwight Howard is done and Dwight leaves then Morey should be on the first flight out as soon as Dwight signs his name to another team. Thats the last time Morey should never work for a Houston organization when he sets us back after it plays itself out.

Its a good incentive. Trade for Dwight and keep his job if we keep Dwight and get fired we miss out on him resigning. I dont think it will be a problem though. I think he definitely gets fired after that happens. Usually people get replaced once some things like that come along. Like what happened in Orlando with their GM.

Teams below the Rockets in the standings are trending up while the Rockets are stumbling and heading in a downward spiral. Doesnt look any different than the last 3 years as theyre on pace to finish right outside of the top 8 yet again. 4th year in a row this team is gonna miss the playoffs. He needs to go. The results speak for themselves

smfh. What were you expecting this season? This is a rebuilding process that will take some time to get to contender. This season is different from the others.

What do you expect from a team with Bigs who can't finish in the paint. Harden and Lin are slowly wearing down because they can't even run the PnR with these tweeners we have. Can't rely on Asik finishing on rolls either.

    This is a horrible bump.

The teams below them are trending up? What teams are these? The Rockets are younger than all of those teams and with the right moves can take that next step.

I don't know about that...It seems that everyone from 4th to 11th(outside of Denver) is in a major slump. The hard part is over. They do have another back to back coming up but that doesn't start until a week from now. They can get back their fire.

Unlike the past 3 years, it's okay to miss the playoffs. We're one of the youngest teams in the league with good cap space and have nowhere to go but up. Morey put the franchise in this positive position.

At some point Maury needs to be held accountable for passing up on tall, athletic big men who are excellent shot blockers like DeAndre Jordan and Larry Sanders in the draft.

14th pick - here we come again?

No he shouldn't be fired. Morey is a great GM surprised people think otherwise.

If he gives up the stretch 4 idea. So many PFs are forced to live outside the perimeter and get rusty at the low post. We are much better of getting a 3pt specialist as stretch 4 and a traditional PF, than a "PF" who does both.

I hope they downward spiral for the next 2 seasons all the way to the bottom. The style they are playing this year makes me sick. I can see Hakeem and Mutumbo chillin in their mansion in tears, eyes bleeding watching this crap defense. They just might be able to outscore people enough to get them a mid 1st round pick again.

It will make me even sicker to watch them give some guy the max who doesn't play like a max player. Hello 1st/2nd round exit ala the last 15 or so years.

It does feel like we have wasted a few years treading water for no reason. Let that ship drown. He still could have landed Harden for Martin+ wtv, and who knows, he could have landed some nice top 5 picks to pair him up with. Instead he's stuck hoping someone will choose to come here, or that a gm will be willing to trade his very young, talented player for Morey's assets of tweener forwards??? His unwillingness to tank for high picks is wasting too many years. He just strikes out 95% of the time going for superstars. /moreyrant

The Morey experiment is not looking good, has not made Rockets a better team. Eventually Alex will let him go.
