Morey shouldn't be fired unless he does stupid things throughout the season, like trade for players that aren't going to get playing time because either they are contracts others don't want and/or he thinks he can package them in another deal that isn't all but verified.

He has created a sort of mystique that we don't value players here within the last 18 months and recently some of his draft selections outside of second round pick ups have been questionable. But now that he has hit the worst free fall of his career, I am more then willing to give him time to repair the issue.

Trading Lowry should help, no way you can go in with him considering the bad blood and we'd constantly be questioning his effort level as many did after he came back and was playing backup. As well as not being so proud that he won't go after a few of the older PGs out their in the FA market. Right now, we are in a bad position and the idea of landing a superstar should be completely out of Morey's head, unless via draft because no LEGIT superstar is likely to be traded here before the start of the season and Morey has to at least get the team prepped for another year in the lottery.

Yes, I think he should be fired for someone that can actually get something done. Sometimes it is OK to OVERPAY a good player like Dragic if it makes your franchise better in the long run.

I have no faith in Morey to do anything meaningful - his time is up.

Yes, he has yet to capitalize in one of his assets. Example, draft Brooks, trade him for Dragic, lose Dragic for nothing.

This offseason is starting to make me wonder. Huge offers for Asik/Lin, losing Lee/Dragic/Lowry (still have Martin/Scola), and not having moved any of the PFs.

Still plenty of time before the season starts, but crazy so far. Of course last time I thought he was doing something stupid, we ended up with Ron Artest.

Morey has more fans than our players. We should start selling Morey suits at the NBA store instead of Rockets jerseys.

Y'all don't understand the concept of rebuilding. I hope y'all jump on some other team's bandwagon, cause the Rockets will suck this year.

We also got a 1st round pick in that deal.

And we could get Brooks back right now if we wanted to.

Read Feigans tweet they are not rebuilding they are trying to remain flexible.

That is the new thing - flexible, never mind that they never do anything with that flexibility that is worth a darn.

It is all about flexibility - what happened to it is all about winning?

Les hates the word rebuilding so dont expect them to admit it. They are slashing salary now and getting younger. That's rebuilding.

Not if they are still offering $15 million + to Lin and Asik it isn't.

Looks like the Rockets are rebuilding from scratch. I dont trust Morey with this process.

Really? Rebuilding from scratch means you do it from the draft, one of Morey's strengths.

He isn't done moving yet, working on sign and trade with camby (few teams interested)...trade of Lowry was to get something with potential (in a pick) with potential to be worth more than Lowry and easier to swallow (cap wise)...we are going to get smith or Howard I still believe..I think with that acquired pick and the value of young players are still the best any team could offer...I really can't say I want Howard especially with all the talk of him leaving but he is the best center in game and him leaving us would mean that he would be passing up more money (he doesnt seem like type to pass up money)...smith would be a good fit too but wouldn't give up as much for him...i think we still got some time..either we get a star or we tank and have good picks for next year and can continue threading out our mediocre players...I think he has a good plan, a lot riding on how he does this offseason though..
