Yes, whether or not Les is dictating the future of this team, Morey has proved once again that he cannot make the Houston Rockets better. How many more years should the Houston Rockets be mediocre before change happens? ::sigh::

    Yes,

    I've been a Morey fan.

But haven't we as fans had enough of the undersized PF shell game that Morey has been playing.

Before the draft and at the trade deadline every yr all of the reports say Moery is going to move up/make this big game changing trade and it never happens. It's getting tiring.

For gods sake draft/trade for a C with size that can chew gum and walk at the same time. I would've loved to see Leonard/Zeller in a Rockets uni. But no, more of the same old crap from Morey. Sometimes you've got to give up more prized assets than you want to to get a quality big man boy genius.

I wonder if Les is responsible for all of this mediocrity.

Yes. Since I got Jeremy Lamb too? Best draft night ever for me. It couldnt have turned out better. No moves, no Dwight like I said, Morey talking big and nothing. Then also Lamb because everyone took Moreys guys before he could pick. Then when the rest were on the board? He messed it up again. So I not only got my guy tonight? I also proved my points at the exact same time. Unless Morey trades for Rudy Gay or someone else to add with Lamb for the future. Thats really getting what I want then.

Leonard was gone before 12... he wasn't worth trading up for. Henson cant lift 185 more than 5 times so not sure what you would expect from him. I don't get what people see in Zeller but I wanted no part in that guy.

I for one think he drafted well for the staying put. Obviously he tried hard to move up into the top 5 but it didn't work out like he wanted. He cant force other teams to trade with him or else I am sure he would have. At least wait until this offseason is completely finished before making Judgements on it. I think Lamb will be good and same with White. Not sure about Jones but I don't expect all three guys to turn out to be amazing anyway. Thats just how the draft goes.

Oh I expect him to get fired but have so many positive things he accumulated for the next guy at least. I think D-mo, Lamb, Dragic(if we keep him), Parsons, and one of those PF's are gonna be real solid for the next guy. Unless Lamb breaks out like I think he can and becomes a semi star. Which is real possible. Anyhow I have him as solid anyways. Along with Parsons and Dragic.

I voted no for no reason, because I have no reason to vote yes.

I guess he shouldn't be fired, exactly. Maybe some kind of physical punishment, like a light-but-serious flogging, and then sent back to work.

How can you guys still defend morey?? Its crazy to me how people still act like he is some sort of a genius! He has lead us into mediocrity year after year. People say "he has tried everything and worked as hard as he could to pull off trades, it's not his fault".... That's where you are wrong, it is his fault. For whatever reason he hasn't found the solution to us being stuck in nuetral, and that falls on him. Get him out of here.

Can we trade Morey for a 6'9" power forward?

I say keep Morey, but Les needs to let him have full control of what direction he feels is best.

    Short answer: No.

In my mind, Morey didn't fail tonight. Instead, I believe the opportunity to get what this community wanted came at too high of a price to justify.

Morey is calculated, patient, and surely as frustrated as many of us here. Regardless, I don't know anyone I would rather have at the helm of my favorite franchise.

    Get over it. Stop whining.

See this bugs me . .. immediately Morey-lovers shift blame to Les

Where EXACTLY is the proof that Les is holding him back?
    Cause this is getting old

We need More Morey-ARTY than MOREY-Ocrity!
