Minny barely had HCA in those playoffs. The one year they did well, they went to WCF. Cavs had b2b 60 wins season and had they just won all their home games, they were multiple champions. They lost only 1 regular season home game in 2009. Stop making excuses.
It must be frustrating for fans to have such high expectations of you that if you don't win consecutive NBA championships you are a loser. I am sure he would rather be a "surprise" than to be "Mr. Disappointment." Great players used to be made by their performance, now they are hyped while in high school. It is a team game; Jordan had a boat load of "role" players around him. Boston pulled off the three superstar idea (only once) but few have.
Perhaps he could temper those expectations by not calling himself the King, not nationally televising his free agency plans, or not proclaiming that he'll win 8 championships.
I don't know how old you are,but kareem went to lakers and it took him like 7 yrs to win a ring even though he won like 4 mvps while there. Lebron in miami isn't a 1 or 2 yr deal. Its about numerous chancces to win a title. That's what players of his caliber want, the chance to win titles. Dr J went to finals in 77,80,and 82 and lost despitehaving a very talented team. He gets moses malone, becomes 2nd fiddle and wins a title. If lebron and crew really just need a coach. Spoealstra ain't ready and they still might win it.
