Actually, with the racist leaflets left in the county by a white supremist group, Kobe/his lawyers should ask for a change of venue. Keep in mind, it's a jury of your peers and an eagle county jury is not a representation of that.
Did these flyers come at the perfect time for asking for a change of venue, or what??!!! Team Kobe couldn't, wouldn't ever have anything to do with this perfect race card trump, could they?
Maybe they also caught Ray Lewis' and Mark Chmura's trials. Mike Tyson had prior issues with forcing himself on women dating back to as early as 1982 (among other law infractions). That's a big diff between him and Kobe. Credibility of the defendent is a factor in a rape case. Tyson had none.
Not that the same racist groups don't exist in the other Colo ctys, but I hear the Eagle Cty residents are none to pleased about them leaving those leaflets. Really makes them look bad in the media.
