Do you think KG makes a big impact on the defensive side?

Great stuff.

Garnett is averaging 8.2 caroms and almost a block and a steal in 34 mpg. The man almost averages a steal for every turnover. That's pretty damn good.

 

Sounds exactly like our oft injured center. Regardless of how slow he is and poor shot blocking statistics for a man of his size, you cannot make a valid argument that the Rockets didn't suffer of then defensive end more than anything else. Same with KG. They very well may be looking at a 3peat if KG was healthy last season.

 

Imagine Artest / Battier, KG, and Howard on a starting 5.

That would frustrate the heck out of most offenses.

 

Garnett used to be the anchor of the celtic defense. Now it's guys like Perkins, Wallace, and their whole backcourt.

Garnett isn't an excellent defender anymore, now he just plays dirty.

 

I'm sorry but I think that Bosh is a crap defender and while he is on par with what KG was on offense before, he's nowhere near the defender that KG is or was. I'd hate to be negative, but I have to make a friendly disagreement here.
