Big people take some time to develop, BUT DAMN the guy isn't showing anything promising for the future, his future is questionable, I can see him Mikki More part II

I question both his heart and basketball IQ. Personally, I don't think he wants it bad enough.

No. He is tall and decent. We already dont have tall and decnet big men. Until it gurantees we get one or a move involving him to get one? NO! We are already undersized and have no centers. I dont count Haseem Thabeet until he counts on the court. I dont count Miller because he is not a center. I dont care what anyone says. I dont count Chuck because he is not tall enough. We dont count Hill even. All together they barely make a good to decent center combo. We cant get rid of any of them unless they have someone in mind to fill their roles. Morey has not done that, so no.

Yes, but who knows how many days those are. I think they'll try to build him up some to increase his trade value. If he was a better prospect at center he'd have a better shot, but he's not. Even Lute Olson said tonight Hill doesn't play hard enough and that's something he's told Hill in the past. Unfortunately, i think that's going to make Hill nothing more than a solid career back up. I don't think we need that with Scola, PP, and chuck.

Hopefully he can be traded for a 1st rounder and we can look for a center and hope they turn into something.

No brainer if you can get a 1st for him, I doubt his trade value is worth a first. I never was impressed with him to begin with, nor with TWill or Thabeet.

I hope his days as a Rocket are numbered. I've soured on him. At this point he is just in the way of Patterson's development.

He's signed for next season. I think they team wants him to go through one more offseason and training camp before they give him away for nothing. His problem really is just making tons of mistakes.

Mistakes can be fixed, and I cant see the Rockets considering him in their long term plans but want to give him one more shot at working in the offseason. I fully expect moves to be made or draft picks to be selected that can replace his minutes next season though.

-Exact same situation goes with T-Will.

-They have alot of work to do this summer, in the meantime, Morey will do whatever he can to bring in more YOUNG talent to compete for their minutes.

Jordan Hill is just not that good......its ashame we have a 6'10 and 7'3 guy who cant sniff the court bar injury, etc!! I said this same thing in the past that he wouldnt be as productive as he should be......IT IS WRITTEN.

Trade deadline is up, and he has a contract that is up after next season.

He has one more offseason and training camp to vastly improve and compete with whoever they bring in or draft. If he doesn't improve then im sure they will cut him or try and trade him for scraps.

Les is already paying lux tax and they probably dont see anyone worth bringing up in the D-League to give them a quality big off the bench.

Right now Jordan Hill is the best option they have for the rest of the season. I dont expect him to be starting again though, but I assume Adelman just wanted Patterson with the second unit because of matchups. He knew that Pat would get the bulk of the playing time anyways.

Dont sweat it, either Jordan vastly improves over the offseason or he wont be a Rocket much longer.

If he fine tuned his game and sticks to playing good defense and rebounding with VERY high energy he could develope into a D. Jordan type of player. But he lacks the instincts that we see so often in PATP and a lack of aggression.........IT IS WRITTEN...AGAIN!

Yeah, I think he's a goner this offseason. I conclude this from the many times Adelman has said he's disappointed in Hill's inability to understand the system. It's possible that Adelman leaves this offseason and Hill will find more success under a different kind of coach. But, I doubt Morey will be happy keeping a guy without the IQ. And, with Patterson looking to be shaping up alright, another big man gamble already in the works with Thabeet, and another lotto pick opportunity to find some size, I think the Hill experiment is over.
