Do you think Ariza is trying to do too much?

  1. No. He's doing exactly what he should be doing.

  2. No, I believe he has potential to be great, he just needs time.

  3. Yes, but our offense is just so lacking that we are being forced to make him become what he is not.

To get 13 points, he had to go 5-17.

Those twelve other shots could have been taken by Landry or Scola.

Or even Brian Cook, for all that matters.

The only problem I have with Ariza is he loves to drive the ball and control the ball, but he has NO HANDLES. He needs to play a role better, just stop and pop. Let Lowry and Brooks create for him. It would make him much better and much more useful.

His FG% right now and 3pt% is pretty awful too, though, I think that is just not being used to being this important to a team, so I cut him some slack there.

Wait a minute I was with you until you said Kobe redeemed himself for the whole rape thing. Kobe is a cheapshot artist I still remember him elbowing and kneeing Battier for no reason other than he's a punk.

Also I want to add WE PLAYED THE NETS.... What is he going to do tomorrow...

A Nets team that we should have blew away but it took the final min in the 4th quarter for the game to be decided. So sad.

sorry, missed that part: he's got career high assistant tonight per TV announcers

Yeah, agree with that part that he should reduce the shot attempts. But for tonight game i simply ignore due to a win

If you watched the game he was terrible. He kept missing his defensive assignment and almost let dooling hit a wide open 3. Everytime the ball is in his hand you are hoping something bad doesn't happen.

Ariza is an overpaid role player, who thinks his huge salary is the green light for him to jack up ill-advised shots out of his effective range. The Rocks would be much better off to give more minutes to T-Mac, and allow Ariza to come off the bench.

Neither Adelman nor Morey want to admit that The Ariza signing was an overreaction - and a bad one at that - to losing Artest.

i'm surprised carl herrera didn't start a thread to complain about ariza's defensive effort and how he failed to close out dooling on 2 straight possessions down the stretch

And he was 1-9 from three, so it was basically 26 shots

I love every part of his game except his offensive efficiency, which have to be better.

It's quite obvious that we have 3 scorers that are better than him. Landry,Brooks and Scola. Even Lowry is a bigger offensive threat than him at times.
Don't agree with the T-Mac part being a starter, but if there is anyone who could benefit from having McGrady on the court,it would be him.
