As I said before, the Worriers do not seem to be able to play lock down D for more than 2 quarters or at all. I maybe wrong but it's really glaring.

That is the chance for other teams and the Rockets who match up very well.

Great point, DW2. And this year, Iggy and Donkey are not what they were in the past. Boogie at C is a defensive mismatch waiting to be exploited. Klay is a solid--though vastly overrated--defender. KD is okay, because his length makes up for what he lacks otherwise on D.

And Curry? Don't get me started; this is the guy who should have entire Youtube vids created to laugh at his defense. His only saving grace is that he always looks like he's putting in a little bit of effort on D, though that's mostly because he can't fight past screens and ends up out of position half the time.

Regardless of what the media keeps telling us, this is simply not a team that can play great defense for an entire game because they simply don't have the personnel for it.

It is worse now with Cousins because he's a big that will be targeted for PNRs but they also just can't sit him like any other role player because...he's DeMarcus Cousins.

It's basically our Melo problem. I honestly don't think the Warriors will win it all because of that. They will likely get out of the West to be sure but the 6ers, Bucks, Raptors are coached too well to ignore this and maybe they will win it all but it will be because they have basically benched Cousins.

Teams will hunt out opportunities to put Curry and Cousins in PNR situations. That's definitely gonna be a thing in the post season.

Harden to say, Warriors played 11 guys last night while D'antoni went with a playoff rotation.

The problem is getting to them while healthy and beating the other tough teams in the west that we don't match up as well.

This is why depth is so important in the regular season and why we should still look to sign House and another buyout target.

No. The Warriors are a whole different animal in the Playoffs. We saw last year how they totally locked up our #1 offense down. Plus, we're a terrible defensive team this year. Maybe bringing back House will add some more margin for error, but I'm not counting on Morey's cheap ass.

We are capable of beating any team in the league when we play smart basketball with MDA making descent decisions.

Lol Portland is not that good bro. That team overachieves every year in the regular season and get their asses handed to them in the playoffs. With no major additions this season, more or less being the same team as last, you are saying that somehow they are not only better than they were a year ago but are 1000x better than the Rockets lol... maybe the Kanter pick up enamours you? But just to refresh your memory, Do u not recall how he panned out for OKC? Dude was unplayable due to how much of a liability he was defensively.

If CP3 continues to play like he has the last two games, Rockets can compete with anyone.

Im not gonna lie, I thought CP3 was no longer capable of being the player he has displayed in the last two games. I just hope he can keep this level up and stay healthy.

Also, signing House will help a lot.

Why does that matter though, it's not like Kerr is using that depth to get his main guys more rest. You would have a good point if our starters were playing 40+ minutes and theirs were resting, but look at the minutes breakdown.

    Curry 36 vs CP3 36
    Durant 38 vs Tucker 37
    Klay 38 vs Gordon 34
    Cousins 27 vs Capela 28
Draymond 27 vs Faried 33 (due to injury)

It's not like their important guys are playing any less than ours. He just threw out the scrubs for 5 minutes to do what, exactly? So Iggy and Shaun Livingston could get more rest than Austin Rivers and Gerald Green?

Yes, Houston can beat them, and they're the only team in the NBA that can. The key is CP3 being healthy for the playoffs. If Houston doesn't do it this year, I think next year is certainly more open for them considering the GSWs FAs.

Speaking of when to face the Warriors: Don't look now, but with the win over LAC, the Nuggets are only a game out of the 1 seed.

    Let's see. ..
2-1 in regular season vs GSW last year
We had them down 3-2 in the WCF before CP's hammy went out.
Had games 5 and 6 in hand before refs took over
We're 3-0 vs them this year

And we're wondering with a poll if we're capable of taking these guys down?
I'll get the record speak for itself

We can, and I think we have a better shot to do so in round 1 or 2, rather than in the WCF. We have to be completely healthy, and I just don't know if we'll be healthy when the WCF rolls around. Fingers crossed as I knock on wood...
