    not 4 out of 7.
Just not showing that sort of consistency.

Yes or we could probably take it 7 again since for some reason they are an easy matchup. But unlike last year we would get completely washed by okc or whoever comes out of the east

My concern is...(mentally) I've moved on to next year yet am uncertain what can be done for the 'next year'.

Is there a '95 'It is time' button to push?

I said yes, but "can" is a very vague term. I think we have less than a 5% chance, and there are several teams with a better chance than us. I don't buy the narrative that no one can beat them and that no one is more likely to beat them than us. The WCF achievement is history, it doesn't carry over. The Bucks, Raptors and whoever finishes 2nd in the West will have a greater than 20% chance.

    Won't stop me from cheering.

To beat Warriors 4 out of 7. It would take everything going great for the Rockets, and injuries to Warriors. I have gambled for about 55 years. The odds of Rockets beating them is about 20 to 1. So don't bet your house. car, or Girlfriend on the Rockets having a Parade down Mainstreet this year. Tilman needs to let Morey get a couple players starting July 1. This year all that's left is a Hail Mary.

I use to go to Tilmans Golden Nugget, once a month. He is a cheapskate with the Rockets. I now go to Delta Downs, or Coushatta.

The talent is there. For some reason or another, we haven't been able to gel the way last season's squad did. Chemistry is not there yet. Let us hope that they will sharpen the knives by season's end.

Maybe if their starting lineup gets hurt we can beat them in a 7 game series

    Yes. With some IFs:

    - If we can get a good forward in the buyout market.
    - If we get back House.
    - If we come healthy to the series.

In those circumstances we would arrive to the key moment of the season with a better team than last year:

    - Last playoffs' rotation: Paul, Gordon, Harden, Ariza, Green, Tucker, Capela, Nene/Ryno, Mbah a Moute. 9 players, being Ryno unplayable because of his defense, and remembering that Luc arrived with an important shoulder injury that affected his confidence and rhythm and became hard to put on the court.

    - We had only 3 guards, in a system that needs people capable of creating by themselves because there are no offensive sets. Also meant not enough rest for Harden/Paul, ultimately an injury.

    - We only had 1-2 players capable of defending the best opponent guards (Ariza and Gordon) in a conference plagged with elite guards. Ariza had -and has- issues with elite quickness, can't follow the first step of those guards and their movement off the ball, Gordon can give you some very good 1on1 defenses sporadically but is not reliable in the long term, will commit mistakes/relax. Advanced stats of both are there for you.

    - This year we will have Shumpert, Rivers, House (in exchange for Ariza), as additional players who can create off the dribble, defend guards and letting our best players rest.

    - This year, not only Capela is a more experienced and better player, but also we have Faried as a second option as a roller and rim attacker, and to keep Clint fresh in long series.

    - Yes our team will be smaller, but if you consider that Luc couldn't help at the playoffs, neither Ryno, our situation there is similar... IF the IFs I wrote before are checked the next weeks.

I was worried about Chris Paul, but I see him with better sensations each game, and on the other hand Harden is even a better player than last year. So just some optimism for you right there.

I think we have the ability and potential to... but MDA will kill any hopes for it...

If we are healthy and rested I believe we have the ability to beat anybody... if we put a little more focus on rebounding and defense our potential would be even higher...

That said... MDA isnt gonna rest anybody... he'll just keep chasing regular season offensive statistical glory...
    PJ's legs will stay dead...
Harden will get run into the ground chasing this streak...
We'll prob see another CP3 injury bc MDA wont limit his minutes and will run him to inflate his ORTG - and call it the need for conditioning...
We'll find ourselves abandoning the CC pnr for periods of needless 3pt chucking...

Additionally, we wont do anything to help our rebounding and defense... its all about the ORTG...

it's really demoralizing to see the ability - but knowing we wont take the long term actions to maximize our potential... smh...

If Paul can get healthy (and STAY healthy) and not be a shell of himself then we have a good chance I think.

We can't beat the Blazers or OKC. We would get wrecked in 5 to GSW. This team is trash this year. Not the same team. We might not even make the damn playoffs.

9th seed Only if harden miss 5 or more games last 25 games

High likely due to tough schedule
    Beat thunder 1st round
    Beat nuggets 2nd round.

Need top tier defense to beat both.

Iguodala is injured, then yes. Top tier defense is needed.
