It lasted about 48 hours. Started feeling crappy on Thursday night but by Sunday morning was back to normal.
Sounds awful. Hope the Donnymost household is feeling better. I think part of it has to do with the change of seasons. I think more people are staying inside leading to more transmission of all sorts of stuff.
Was at an alumni event this past weekend and found out last night they two people there had tested positive for COVID. Out of precaution I tested and came up negative. Ironically I got my COVID booster shot yesterday afternoon.
I’m running a low grade fever and feel it in the head with body aches and no energy. But, no respiratory symptoms. Is this a head cold?
I felt like this but perhaps not as bad and it turned out to be Covid. Confirmed case since Sunday evening. Tested because it felt WEIRD and Thanksgiving was coming up (didn't want to infect family). Otherwise I haven't bothered to test since in like... 1.5yrs. So... you might have Covid. The first time I had Covid (post-vax) I would rate the struggle a 7/10. This time 2.5/10 (although I imagine there is still time for it to get worse on me). If I lose taste I will be PISSED. That was the final symptom I had last-go.
my sinuses are so clear and dry it would be pointless to stick those things up my nostrils. Taste isn’t affected. I am losing weight but still able to eat albeit eating small servings and not really hungry. This is milder than the flu. Just hoping it ends soon cause it’s been since the weekend andI can’t doa single chin-up right now let alone work out. The other symptom is mild head throbs that are like a headache that comes and goes. Also, scalp is really sensitive.
Man, I had to cook some chicken breasts or they would go bad. Toward the end of all that, I broke out in a hard sweat and almost passed out before I sat down to collect myself. It was starting to spin. That was crazy.
Chest cold for a week solid…I typically get this almost every November, Right after my return flight from Houston back I felt an itching in my throat and knew what was up …Normally I wear a mask in the Fall not because of Covid but because I’m scared of getting all the junk people tend to pass around this time of the season
Just tested, for the first time in ages, as I was having symptoms - positive. Going to take Paxlovid, to try it.
I tested this weekend as me and the whole family got sick super quick. Negative, at least that's something.
Hope you get better soon. I suggest getting some hard candy to help mask the taste of paxlovid. Cinnamon flavor worked well for my wife.
Started feeling bad Friday night, woke up feeling horrible Saturday. Fever, aches, chills, rough cough, headache. Thought it was the flu for sure, wife convinced me to go get checked on Sunday to get tamiflu. Turns out it’s Covid! now on paxlovid and it’s messing up my stomach and giving a nasty taste in my mouth. I don’t feel like it’s difficult to breathe but I do feel a bit winded going up and down the stairs. How do you know when to be concerned?
Get well soon! How old are you, if I may ask? Was it difficult to get Paxlovid? Did you have to convince your doctor?
thanks! I’m 36 and no it was not difficult at all, after the positive test it was the first option given to me.
Interesting, because normally, one has to either be above 50 or have certain risk factors (obesity, etc.) apply. I don't think you need to be concerned, as long as you don't have shortness of breath.
