That joke doesn't make sense. You say that people are sucking someone's dick when they incessantly defend them as if they are above reproach. This is the quintissential "I know you are but what am I" post.
Yeah, basically this. I don't *support* this but I'm not mad about it either. It's happening so let's just get it done.
Well without getting more graphic.......the incident turned that individual against Harden. Probably wasn’t even the incident that turned said individual off.....James probably didn’t tell said individual, thanks. So that has led to a disenfranchised jag off fan.
I too was once this optimistic. I highly doubt this is the case; this chapter of hardens career will end a diff way (it’s 2020)
Ask me again in about a week. I don't love what he's doing now but that doesn't mean he's burned all bridges. It's kind of boring to be honest. I've never been less impressed by a multi-millionaire lifestyle. It's all an exhibition of shallow extravagance with no responsibility. They aren't in cool places and they aren't doing anything I couldn't do as a non-multi-millionaire minus the whole private travel on a whim thing (meh).
I support Harden until the last time he laces up his shoes for a NBA game. That said I want Rockets org to act like a drill sergeant toward him. If he shows up, punish his ass. If he doesn't, fine him.
The most rational response. The best outcome for Rocket fans is Harden returning as it's obvious that we won't get fair value in return for a player of Harden's level. Doesn't mean we coddle him like a lil baby.
Can’t tell my mortgage company I don’t agree to pay the amount I agreed to on the contract I signed. move on from this pre-Madonna and let him play with the two other cry babies.
Unless a trade is finalized, I remain on team Harden. That doesn't mean anything about Tilman or anything though. Some people think it's either team Tilman or team Harden. No other way. That's pretty small minded. @treyk3 has a theory that I kind of buy into: this all could be a cover-up for getting his friend Westbrook to leave his side gracefully. Sending Russ packing after one season is not kosher. Elaborate? Sure, but I think it would have to be. Reason I buy it: Harden is and wants to be the man. If he goes elsewhere he starts down a peg or two. I think he'd rather have players join him. I think he wants to still be the Alpha dog.
I know this is his way to force a trade. But if he ever gets on the same page with Silas and starts winning all will be forgiven. But if this continues and he never comes back. This is an ugly way to say good bye to the only fan base that supported you though all that media hate.
Team harden all the way. Fk u anti harden fans, until it is official that he's not a rockets anymore stfu with your constant b****ing. Man misses preseason so fkin what. Man been giving it his all for our city every season, least u could do is just wait and see b4 being a two face fan.
Pfft. Until a harden successor magically appears, I ain't gonna attack his lifestyle or playstyle. Rockets without harden is just gonna return back to mediocrity.
I do not think all will be forgiven, some guys even called this the Knicks of the South. Potential FAs will take notice, the reputation of the org is getting pulled down. This PR stunt is something the media would resort to for years to come IMO. It is actually pretty bad. First Tilman and now JH. (He was also pretty late for the bubble months ago without a statement.)
I'm surprised that 20% still support Harden. I thought it would be in the single digits. I'm sure he can win a lot of us back if he shows up to practice and is engaged this season, but at this point it's hard to support him.
Harden is clearly a screaming baby. Pen to paper on your contract is your WORD. A man who does not honor his word is nothing.
