Maybe not, but since Netflix doesn't stream most new Bluray releases... using their Disc option to watch movies is still a good option. Most people don't have the internet and/or the data cap to stream movies at 4k..........
Forgive me (or not) if this has already been posted ... 2.7 Million Americans Still Get Netflix DVDs in the Mail (cnn.com) Remember when Netflix used to be a DVD-by-mail company? Well, for 2.7 million subscribers in the US, it still is. From a report: In 2017, the number of people who subscribed to Netflix's DVD subscription was about 4 million.
I cancelled mine awhile ago... but still not sure why Netflix can't put their more newer releases on to streaming. Sure, they may raise their rates... but in the end, I bet a good chunk of DVD holdovers would make the switch, thereby decreasing their costs of having to package/mail/sort dvd's.
