I'm still rooting for the team that says R-O-C-K-E-T-S
REGARDLESS OF WHO'S PLAYING or NOT PLAYING.

And yes I believe we can make it past the first round this year.

Rocket Only fans are sad about Tmac, but we're not surprised.

I watched the Rockets when Yao went down last year, and Tmac goes down this year. But this year, because of Yao's emergence as the best center in the L, we can get past the first round.

So sorry tmac fans and your endless comparisons to Kobe and your orlando stats you pull out, but the fact is a fact. We haven't made it out of the first round since Barkley.

And when we make it out of the first round this year. its because of Team, not player. Nobody is going to start comparing Yao to Duncan etc. We won't care about how high his average points per game was, we'll care about winning.

It's blessing in disguise for Tmac, so he can finally get healthy
and the Rocket faithful, who just want the team to win and that's it. Win.

I think belittling someone because they came here after their favorite player was possibly traded or drafted to the Rockets is low and childish.

I have lived in Houston my whole life but welcome the chinese fans, the Battier fans the Artest fans whatever.

If in a year their player is gone and they leave also, WTF do I care?

I don't think all people who drive Ford F150s are trash, I mean who knows they might actually trade their truck in for a Toyota Tundra.

Its a poll, you don't like it, start your own poll. Its a Rockets website and it would be nice if people root for the Rockets.

    I get it.

This is a public poll, so the 20+ people who voted "No" will get ragged on by you and told to leave this site since your some sort of Rockets Guru.

I root for Rockets no matter what...i don't dislike a player just because he isn't doing well or isnt living up to his ability...a true fan sticks with the team through good and bad...

tinman if the rockets suck for 3 years and attendence falls to an alltime low then les sells the team and they move to Las Vegas. Would u still root for the team that says R-O-C-K-E-T-S?

Good question. This brings up a new spin. I root for H-O-U-S-T-O-N jerseys in pro-sports.

My answer is NOPE. I didn't follow Bud Adams either, though.

New question. Would many people get this comparison? ----> I feel that T-Mac may be a sort of Warren Moon character for the Rockets... never winning a title, but always within reach of one.

Dude Warren Moon never screwed up a game for the Oilers, its was the defense who can't stop elway on 4th and a million or stop an old joe montana or even stop a 2nd string scrub like Frank Wright.

Sure Warren Moon had domestic issues, but he was not soft. He adapted to different offensive coordinators too.

Hey Gilbride got a superbowl right with the Giants.

But OKC is such a crap town, those dudes must be really crazy fans to fly down there.

Vegas or OKC? that's not too hard of a choice.
