When I'm watching my DVDs of the Knicks series or any of the old games that might pop up on NBA Classics, I root for the Rockets even when I know they're going to lose the game. Until it's over, I keep thinking at least one Rocket is going to make a play to change the outcome.

If a Laker fan tells me

    Kobe > Tmac
    I say: you're right

    Fisher > Rafer
    I say: you're right

    Bynum > Yao
    I say: you're wrong

and I'll tell them, if we see you in the playoffs, my team will find a way to beat yours. Beat LA!

Being a Rockets fan doesn't mean you have to be a dumb fan.

    Question for you tinman.

Have you rooted for Hakeem when he was in Toronto?

Poor dream was just a shell of himself in Toronto. :(
you wanted some success for him but man it was hard to watch him not be able to do all those great moves.

I wanted him to do well, but hey you can't beat old age.

Like when people saw Kobe vs MJ with the Wizards, you know for a fact young MJ could easily hang with Kobe.

    sad stuff.

Hmm... technically... I'll root for the team that has to do with Houston.

There would be no way, I'd have rooted for San Diego Rockets.

well you still write in italics.

It will never end. This problem never occurred when the 99ers ruled.
We all loved the Rockets, we all respected the organization and the championships, when we post something about Dream or Maxwell it was welcome with pride.

Questioning everyone's loyalty to the Rockets keeps this site what its suppose to be intended for. LOYAL ROCKET FANS.

I tell the Spurs fans and Laker fans that I know that some people claim to be Rockets fans and don't respect the Rockets championships, they told me this

those aren't real fans. A Spurs fan will smack you if you call their 1st championship a false one because of a strike season. A Laker fan will kick you if you made fun of Magic having HIV. A real Rocket fan will [you figure it out] if you discredit their championship. And Crazy MFkers like me and the 1999ers,.. well. let's not go there.

Respect all Rockets teams, respect why its called Clutch City, respect the banners that hang.

I only root for rocket teams with McGrady on them, they are the most successful teams, and most fun to watch. Especially in the playoffs, where he just dominates, leading to great postseason success.

Just face the facts. McGrady is the best player in the league right now, hes just not playing at his full capability. Just wait a few months, and he will be back to his self doing those 180 dunks and off the backboard self alleyoops and of course, win us a championship.
