This flick came out in 1964, was Michael Caine's first film, and featured hundreds (seemed like thousands!) of young, naked Zulu women, dancing for the Zulu warriors.



Blowup, 1966, was the first really hot film I saw, with David Hemmings having an orgy with 2 teenage chicks, who were hoping to become models, and did their best to impress Hemmings' character. A great murder mystery (or is it??), directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. There's a new remastered DVD out that I recommend to anyone who hasn't seen the film.

 

I'm not quite as old as Deckard , but Cybil Sheppard in The Last Picture Show was a wonderful introduction to the female form.

you know, after reading plcmts17's post and this response, i now realize stripes was the first time i saw nudity in a movie because i can remember seeing that scene a long time ago. no idea how young i was, though. it must've been on hbo or something.

 

I went to IMDB to look ut Blowup because you said it was a great murder mystery and some guy on the message board for it said that the DVD has been "sadistically mutilated!" He said they removed the MGM title and they blurred out the teenage girls privates. The post is from October last year, so is there a new DVD out or coming out?

I just finished reading the long thread about the censoring of Blowup, on the IMDb boards. Clearly, the dvd has been altered from the original film. I apologize to everyone about recommending the dvd, as I hadn't seen it, was planning on buying it, and had read that it was out some time ago. I have a vivid recollection of watching the film, which was probably the first film in the States, by a major studio, to have full frontal nudity. There are several nude scenes in the movie, and a tennis match at the beginning (which is important, if you've seen the original... I don't want to give anything away) that have been either altered in some way, or deleted.

Don't buy this version... wait for Criterion to hopefully come out with the complete, uncensored film. (sigh) What times we live in!
