You can hate Ariza all you want........

But the truth will set you free

-better than Shane @ this stage
    - lee, undersized SG who has been sucking really bad
    - would of helped cover AB and KM weak perimeter defense
    - better trade asset
    - probably would of fit in much better with Yao (when he plays)
    - has some attitude

I can live with his crappy shooting because this year Shane is no better.....

Once he missed the FTs vs the spurs to lose that game--he's been on a downward spiral!

Not having Ariza is NOT the reason this team is not playing well. This team lacks a guy that can take over consistently on either end of the court.

There is no post presence on either side of the ball.

Injuries may be a big part of what's going on but, I think there are changes needed with the roster. It's still early so I'll stay patient, but I'm starting to feel like this team as constructed MIGHT not be able to get it done.

Times a thousand. As soon as they said Ariza traded for Lee? I said WTF?? Who is Lee? The guy who missed the most important putback in Orlandos history? Oh Yeah??. Why a SG when we have Kevin Martin though? Ariza was clearly better. We got hosed on that deal. I scream for trades. Not sucky ones though where we get hosed in value back.

i was a fool thinking lee is equal to ariza...

i really liked the trade but 2 nba teams gave up on lee before so there must be a reason... and now i know...

against it then, and against it now. Lee's play hasn't helped to change my mind. I don't think I've seen a single defensive play that he has made. The trade defenders were making it sound like he was a defensive stopper.

    We traded Ariza to:
    1. Move CBud into the rotation with meaningful minutes.
    2. Shore up our backup SG.
    3. Save $$$.

Stop comparing Lee to Ariza. Compare CBud to Ariza.

Yes, yes, and a big YES!

Other teams have improved as well, but the only difference between the starting line-up of last year (as we ended the season) and our starting line-up now is Ariza. Once he learned to play with KM and more within his strengths, we could compete.

Now it's not only the fact that we're losing but how we are losing (like someone just needs to blow hard at us and we fall down in the 4th quarter like a stack of cards) that's so frustrating.

Courtney Lee comes in the arena disguised, wearing a Rockets jersey but changes into his opposing team jersey as soon as he checks into the game.

The villainous superpower of Lee is the only reason I have regrets losing Ariza. He was a mere mortal with a misplaced kryptonitic jump shot but he would have definitely contributed more.

    But.....

In the overall scheme of bigger things, Ariza, another role player on a team of good citizens, isnt what this team needs. So losing him wasn't a big deal.

What this team needs a superhero.

Wonderwoman is not the answer, folks.

    It aint working.

Even Megan Fox declined that soft role.

Ariza is ****, we'd lose those games with or without him

I guess a lot of people here forgot his bricklaying fest/no handles/horrible shot selections

I don't regret it,but he was starting to play better after Martin joined us. Kevin's poor defense prompted DM to seek Lee as a backup. I feel Trevor could have helped Shane out on defense.

What passing and ball handling has CBud shown?

And Cbud is a way better 3 pt shooter.

I would actually give the passing edge to Ariza and the rebounding edge to Bud
