Not only that, you'll never see Robinson,Willis,or Rose more than 15ft away from Duncan. Why? When Duncan gets the ball at the low block, one of those 3 are battling for position on the opposite box or is at the ft line waiting to dive down the lane for dunks and short shots. If nothing else, they can be used for ball reversal.

Most dominated means he gets dominated and he does not dish out domination. I would just like for you to clarify that for the rest of us

LOL, most dominated. That would be Shawn Bradley.

I agree with this 100 percent. I saw every Rocket game last season, and I only remember maybe one or two games where Yao was triple teamed. At most, he would get a soft double. The reason is that Yao very, very rarely dominated his man offensively. In order to get that kind of attention, you have to be destroying your man one on one. The second time around the league teams would just push Yao out and keep a body on him. He's not a great shooter when there is a body on him - that's one of the rasons why hhis shooting percentage fell. To me, Yao is a better spot up shooter, I'm not sure he will ever be able to adjust to shooting while facing contact.

And great players don't need anyone else to be great. AT the very least, if you can't get a good shot because you are being zoned, you do the other things. You go pull down 20 boards or block 5 shots. You do something to affect the game. Too many times last year if Yao's shot wasn't on, then we basically got nothing from him that game.

And better? Don't you think? Meaning...Kobe is more efficent than Francis and by some polls, www.sportsline.com , is ranked number 1 at shooting guard compared to other guards including Tmac. However, I would have to say Tmac is the more complete player than Kobe.

But back to the Topic, Stever Francis is no Kobe Bryant. To compare the two is like apples and oranges

Thanks for setting me straight.

Why don't you name a coach that prevented a player from becoming great, or a 'system', or another player. I'd like to hear about some guys that would've been great if not for any of these things.

A coach's job is to TEACH the player to become a great player.
If players can become great by themself without coaches, why bother have coaches at all?

That is why bad coaching will not produce a great player.
You will not hear about a guy with bad coach preventing him from becoming great because that guy will never be good enough for people to notice if he is good. And that is because of bad coaching.
