You know, it's difficult to tell. At times theres a difference as bigtexxx is slightly less of a foppish dandy than Jorge, but then sometimes they track each other almost too closely. It's one of those things we'll never know.
I thought your posting style kind of resembled this guy who was banned...I forgot his last ID, but one of his was PinetreeFM1960.
You are thinking of Friendly Fan. I would actually charactize him more in the flamingmoe style. *Very* thin on substance and incapable of controlling his emotions.
Ah, thanks, yes, I forgot the name. I thought the guy seemed to be pretty smart, but Trader_Jorge is right, sometimes he completely lost it, which you don't.
He answered this effectively last night. Go look up the debate transcript. Also, it's awfully optimistic going on that assumption. I think it is highly likely that the Democratic nominee will have coattails and this will be the Republican Congress' version of 1992. The other side demands a fact-based refutation of this post, but how does one provides facts that counter this kind of thing? I mean, except for those polls showing Kerry beating Bush, what can I say here? I should also note that this is further proof that the GOP has a cynical and elitist view of the American public. If the GOP wants to really make this a election a question of tax fairness and the economy, that's fine. I'm not going to rehash the war arguments... you can consult the other 1,367 threads on that... but I will say I do want the war and how this Bush has responded to 9-11 to be part of the debate, that's fine with me... these will all be losing issues in the general election as the current polls prove. Bush has to find something else to run on besides his post 9-11 image because he certainly can't run on his post 9-11 policies, with the notable exception of Afghanistan and he can't even bring that up because it makes Iraq look ridiculous and reminds people he didn't have the fortitude to finish the job. I find it interesting that this charge is made and then Kerry is criticized for doing exactly that two points below. And Kerry never retreated under fire. Nor did Clark. Nor did Cleland. Nor did Bush. (GHWB at least... unfortunately, his son was born a coward.) First, I don't give a damn what Kerry is to the Republicans. It's Dems and Independents that matter. Second, on the contrary, Kerry's actions show exactly what those principles mean. If the GOP really wants to take this tack and bring more attention to Bush's questionable record, all I can say is... Bring. It. On. The many vets and firefighters supporting Kerry will be more than happy to make this point to the Chickenhawk bow-tie wearing losers who are the GOP machine. Not only is he a man, but he is a leader of men... keep it up... and get b****-slapped back to your mama's apron, you wussies. And really now, if you want to fight the Vietnam War over again that's great... only a few die-hard morons think it was something other than a mistake and are likely to support this kind of smearing spin. Wait, i thought he was a prisoner of liberal orthodoxy. The concern for gays from TJ and the WSJ is touching and I'm sure will pull the gay vote over to Bush in landslide fashion.
Whoop-de-damn......the election is months away and all you see is Kerry on TV. You know that Mondale actually led Reagan in some polls way before a 49 state ass whipping at the hands of the greatest president of the 20th century. Kerry doesn't stand a chance in hell. Unless the Democrats pull out even more stops in their usual b.s. vote-getting chicanery as they always do, Kerry will take Massachusetts and that's about it. I may not like Bush at all, but I know a winner when I see one.
The current president is even less fit to lead; thus, we must overwhelmly re-elect GWB in this bizaro world in which TJ lives.
I think if I was a betting man, I would bet on the following two things: Kerry will be the Democratic candidate. Bush will win the election.
YEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I'd love to see a northeast liberal come out of the democratic primary! FOUR MORE GLORIOUS YEARS!!!
Hmmmm. Almost 30 minutes and many silly posts later, and not one person, even the vaunted instigator of this train wreck of a thread has bothered to substantively respond. Hypocrites. thy party is the GOP and thy God is Bush.
Respond to your shallow opinion piece? Don't flatter yourself into thinking that your 'response' was an adequate rebuttal. You have Batman Jones disease. Responding with a load of mularkey and expecting others to respond to your response. It don't work that way, hoss.
