Outside of the half a dozen I own for personal use (protection and recreational), I also have various antique guns from the 16th and 17th c. that I inherited and collected.

 

Glock 40 and 12 gauge next will be an AR-15.

You have the coolest guns of anyone on this board (I have the second coolest, I believe.) That is incredibly awesome. I would love to own those type of guns. I would own replicas just to be able to try and use them with some regularity.

I grew up around guns, shooting them and handling. I am an avid hunter and shoot for sport. My collection has grown since I was a teenager.

What a fail of a thread.

Here's my take on poor Ronny. He's frustrated in his life (women, career, personal life -- not sure which all dimensions are applicable), so he comes on here and tries to demean others and lecture others on how to improve, in order to make himself feel better. Remember, those frustrated in their own lives tend to be the ones who most enjoy tearing others down. He may blame some of his frustration on limitations inherent in his home country (not sure where but apparently someplace in Europe), so he decided to start this thread in order to try to tear down those in a successful country (USA).

I've never felt compelled to own a gun, and if I ever did, it probably means I should move to a safer neighborhood. I also hope that I'm never a victim of random crime (outside the home) that would make me feel like I needed a CHL. It would suck to live life that paranoid. However, I think it might be fun to own a revolver and go to the range once in a while. Once I had kids though, that thing would go into the trash can faster than you can say Colt 45. An alarm system and a baseball bat will suffice. If somebody breaks in while I'm around, that means they're probably not looking for money anyway, and they're either 1) a psycho (very small chance) or 2) I really pissed somebody off. In case #2, I'd be aware of the bounty on my head and I'd arm myself accordingly, although I don't think I'll ever end up in that situation.
