I miss Landry because I enjoyed watching him so much while he was here but I still like the Martin/Landry trade in our favor.

Ron Artest was good when he was here but I don't think he would make much of a difference here at this point. He would be a slight upgrade over Battier, though.

    Von Wafer.... no.

Von a tiny bit, Landry yes. Artest not really. I'd miss him if he only took simple shots and minimized the time the ball was in his hands.

Heck even Alston gave this team toughness. So did Dikembe.

It's sad when we're looking back to those days.

My 3 favorite players from '08-'09... the team actually gave a damn, and we played with a take-no-prisoners mentality. The team's effort was never in question, and we played with a chip on our shoulders. Just ask the Lakers...

I miss having someone on our team that other teams fear.

I'll never understand why during the Lakers series, Adelman would bench Wafer in favor of our starters when he was clearly outplaying every player we had at the time.

If there's one downfall on Adelman its the fact that he's too loyal to his starters, even when they are worse than the bench.

Hell yea I miss Von Wafer. He couldnt be worse than Budinger or JTaylor right now.

I miss being tough. We are so soft! We whine, flop, and watch basketballs roll out of bounds.

Von wasn't playing that well that series if I remember. Sasha Vuhiadjkah of all people was getting in his head and locking him down.

I miss Artest the most and Morey was dumb to let him go. He brough toughness and a great competitive nature to this team, we wouldn't have gone to second round without Ron. We had the most successful season in 10 years with him as our leader

I remember vividly he wanted a long term contract but we were only offering him a 1 year deal. He said ok and left to the Lakers

I miss them all. Landry dunking, Artest being Artest, and Von Wafer holding up that three symbol with his hand while running back on defense after making a three.

They added personality to our team. The Vohawk and Artest's Rockets hairdos- I loved it. It was pretty fun to see fans walking around with both hairstyles. If I were a guy, totally would've sported one.

Sure they had their weaknesses, Landry was getting figured out and becoming ineffective, Artest's shooting, and Wafer's lack of D and Adelman's issues with him, but they good outweighed the bad.

I miss the 08-09 season :( fun time to be a Rockets fan
