http://www.sportsworldreport.com/articles/3487/20120713/houston-rockets-rumors-team-set-offer-kevin.htm OUT Kevin Martin + Patrick Patterson, Marcus Morris, Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lamb, Royce White IN Dwight Howard + Jason Richardson, Glen "Baby" Davis, Chris Duhon, Hedo Turkoglu
YES We take on a lot of contract money in this one, but we keep both the Dallas and Toronto pick. Worth it.
No way a deal gets done for Dwight that doesn't include picks. The Lowry deal was done SPECIFICALLY for the Dwight trade. However, if this deal DID happen, I'd be ecstatic. We'd be keeping Lamb PLUS our two first round picks. It's a no-brainer.
Replace Parsons and Lamb with Raptor pick, Dallas pick, and Jones and you've got a deal. That way we can buyout Hedo and Duhon next season and have money for Paul. We could then sign AB to a 1yr deal. Brooks/Livingston/Duhon Richardson/Lamb Parsons/Hedo Davis/Dmo Howard/Leuer/Smith We could potentially have a 2013 starting five of Paul Lamb Parsons Dmo Howard
Replace Chandler with Jones, and White with a future pick and then yes Out:Kevin Martin + Patterson, Morris, Jones, Lamb, Future 1st or 2nd rounder In Howard + Richardson, Davis, Duhon, Turkoglu
I don't see how this would work. According to ESPN's trade machine, we'd have to cut $15 million in incoming salary for it to work. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7on3a4q I've been saying this in other threads, but I just don't see how we can take back all of Orlando's bad contracts. After Martin's ~$12 million yearly salary, our biggest contracts are Patrick Patterson and Toney Douglas at ~$2 million per year.
