    Well to tell you the truth. I live in Houston. I have come to expect asinine trades.

    Vince Young or Reggie Bush...noooo Marcus Williams

    but but but..we believe in David Carr...duh!

    Rudy Gay...noooo Shane Battier

    because our team as is can't compete with L.A., Phoenix, Dallas, and SA.

    Was there a poll done after draft night? I think the breakdown, provided only a yes/no option, would be even worse after we got Brooks and Landry.

    Oddly enough, the same Brooks that many now are leery of trading for Artest.

    Well the reason this sucks is that you would be trading Brooks for a half season of Artest.

    Do you even keep up with NFL? I dont even watch NFL and I know Reggie is a big bust and most people now agree Mario Williams was worth the number 1 pick

    I voted No, but the only logical explaination here is that rockets feel they need a better backup point guard to succeed in the playoff. Aaron Brooks is too much of a defensive liability right now. He is still a project. I think it's a necessary move for the rockets. However, this trade also makes NO much stronger than they were before.

    Overall, it's a trade rockets needs to make but in the NO's favor.

    Everyone that voted no will be eating their words come playoff time.

    Can we start a Bobby Jackson fanclub already? I want to be vice president because its the position that does the least work...

    BOBBY JACKSON FOR PRESIDENT!!! HELL YEAH!! I'm so bumping this thread come playoffs...

    Look at it this way.. we can possibly have the combo of BJ and Head as our backcourt. Think about the 3pt shooting.. Think about the spacing... Think about the jokes about Head and BJ!

    Vince = Very Sub par so far (terrible season in '02)

    Bush = Bust so far

    Mario = Stud so far

    Well good luck to Mike James. May your butt be released from the splinters you grew attached to here in Houston. However, I doubt this is the case. LOL

    I'm not saying I'd trade Brooks for Artest. I'm just pointing out that initial reaction means absolutely nothing. The fans, myself included, were pretty livid on Morey on draft night. Now, not so much. :)

    I'm a little down for losing Bonz, but MJ gone is a Godsend.

    But hey, wouldn't we lose Bonzi in the off season anyways? I mean he's in a contract year, and I think the Rockets are already gonna be spending on resigning Landry. Bonzi was bound to be let go eventually so why not get something for him now.

    I guess I was just not expecting to lose him this early and for a 50 year old BJ?
