I also like the red and gold color scheme, maybe throw in some silver. Don't necessarily like these logos.
Well I can't design/draw for crap, so maybe you're right. But it's hard to believe... it's a rocket. Rockets are well known and iconic. Vs. Knicks, Warriors, Lakers, Magic, Pistons, Nuggets, Trailblazers, Heat, Pacers, Celtics, Clippers, Jazz, Thunder... Point being, all of the above seem like they'd require either more out of the box thinking or text-based logos relative to a rocket.
New logo and uniform will be revealed for the 2016-2017 season when Durant comes to Houston.... Calling it now...
Agree about the F4 logo... the current R looks very amateurish. i dont think it looks good on gear either. It's a weird shape, overall I thought this design was clean, but modern: (6 over, 1 down) Just needs a different logo/font and the correct shade of colors.
I like the logo.. and I appreciate that they are able to keep a decent-looking (imo) logo without forcing a basketball into it like so many other teams logos.
Nike designs kick in at the start of 17-18..i'm not sure how that's going to work exactly, but I'm assuming much like it did in football. Texans Jerseys looked much better after, even though it was basically the same concept. I'm hoping a nike design automatically improves our current jerseys.
New school championship logo The Rockets current alternates are great. Just add similar but newer style logo of the championship years.
I agree. Can someone make this same logo with the 'H' instead of the 'R'. I think the problem with it specifically is it's too curvy and not bold enough. Needs more of an edge on it. The vertical lines of the 'H' as Rockets would make more sense than the 'R'. Anyone out there able to do this?
i wasn't a fan of the logo then, but i always liked the road pinstripe and i've always wanted this color scheme Spoiler
too trailblazer-y for my taste I love the navy blue one. Not a fan of the off-color rectange, and the "iamlilliard" thing on the right....
Our current uniforms were made to appeal to all the Asian fans they gained. Notice the Chinese take-out font? We had just drafted Yao one year before. These should've died a long time ago, but signing Jeremy Lin kept 'em in play. Way overdue for a change.
