Actually, Real World was decent in the 1st few seasons...then it was everywhere and became showcase for uncharismatic douchebags and untalented skanks.
I don't watch it now; but if I had cable when I was a teen I would have watched it everyday, especially the shows they have now. I think we all forget that television, at its very core, is about escapism. MTV is probably the only place where adolescents, teens and young adults can see well to do, attractive or popular people their age indulging in ways that most of them know they can't (and shouldn't).
The only thing I watch on MTV these days is True Life, and Made. (if i ever watch mtv). on made, they had the Houston Dynamo cheerleaders. Sweet Marilu (or is that Marylou) was in it. I don't see you in there Susie. How do you like that Clutch? The other **** ****ing SUCKS. The MTV VMAs is a joke. I've never seen videos on MTV. I've only seen them in the mornings. MTV has not been good since the early to mid 90s. I want to say 1995 was the last good year of MTV before it went really bad. By the way, Disney>Nick. I grew up on Nick. I grew up on Rugrats and Doug. I did not grow up on Mickey Mouse club and Kids Inc. I've always hated Disney Cartoons because of all the singing and crap. Now I like it. Kinda funny.
