Love him. Not sure Morey will ever be the guy to get him though. We obviously need more competent GMs like the Clippers have and Nets have to get superstars. It pains me to say it but Twolves, Clippers, and Nets GM are making Morey look like an idiot right now. I would add in the Knicks too for getting Carmelo and Amare but Amare has fallen off so bad lately.
I will add in the Nuggets for resigning their own guy and getting half the Knicks roster for Carmelo though. Every GM is stepping up. Morey??????
He came to the Turkey and played for my team, Beşiktaş. Even before that I always believed he's the best point guard in the league, that cp3 guy is really good but Deron's size&defense gives him the edge. So yes, i really like him as a Beşiktaş and Rockets fan. I respect him even when he was torching us with the ****ty Jazz, he is classy.
That's understandable, but it's not the problem. The problem is that he's looking to be paid as if he was Chris Paul, even though he's obviously not. If we got him, the problem would be that he might not be good enough at his salary level for us to fill out the rest of the roster. The guy has a sick, nasty crossover, but I don't see anything else about him that impresses me personally, considering his salary.
Hopefully we have enough assets to nab both Howard and Dwill at the deadline. Pretty much our only shot at a ring in the next five years. With luck, Scola stops stinking it up and ruining his trade value.
He made Boozer look good. What could he do for Scola, Martin, & Co. -If the trade is for Lowry, expirings, and maybe a pick or two I say jump on it. Maybe you can find a way to bring Lopez along with him, who knows.
