I've always respected the guy... even when he played for Utah. I never really had a problem with him. Boozer, on the other hand. I can't stand that guy.
Sorry outside of Lebron and MAYBE Wade (Kobe could in the past, but I don't believe any longer), carrying a completely worthless team on your back to the playoffs (in this case playoffs is easier than 0.500) isn't going to happen. Look no further than the Magic. Dwight had 1 guy helping him this season (Ryan Anderson), Ryan goes down with injury and the Magic can't stay within 20 points of the HORNETS at home... Even superstars need help and considering Lebron and Wade can't be had, we have to go after these superstars that need the help.
Couldn't agree more. The guy is a great scorer and passer. He's big for his position so he plays strong D against PG's. The only thing is that we have a GREAT PG in Houston right now. He's in a shooting slump, but I'm convinced he will come out of it, so therefore, PG is not the position we need to go after. A stud PF, SF, or a solid backup Center are the only places we need to evaluate. Personally, I like Parsons at SF so I'd like to see us try to snag an All-Star caliber PF like we tried to do before the season started.
I like Deron Williams play, but not as much as Lowry's. Aren't they both damn near neck and neck as far as talent?
No, I don't like him but if that's what it takes to get Dwight you have to roll with it. I will always think of him as a j*zz.
