My guess is that there is little chance that T-Mac is descended from Darfur as slaves were brought over from the West Coast of Africa.

Dads family is from Ireland - Mom is from England.

FYI, if your grandparents came over from Ireland you can get Irish citizenship. I'm in the process right now.

The family members I know about were English, French (possibly by way of Canada) and German. The first "Paige" from my direct ancestors was my great-great-grandfather (well, since my father was adopted by his grandparents, that would legally be my great-grandfather) who came over from England not long before 1900.

English and Scottish, on my mother's side. Scottish and Irish on my father's, with some possible Native American. It's one of those family tales that varies a little, depending on which old relative told the story to you when you were young. The only consensus being that there's something to it.

Descended from King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty in China. I believe I also have some Latino blood. I'm not sure if I have a little Japanese.

Are you sure? It is my understanding that Zanzibar, off the east coast of Africa was the #1 port for slave trade in the world.

I always knew my ancestors were from the Punjab region of present-day Pakistan, but was always curious about my family tree. I just found out that one of my uncle's actually has all of our family history mapped out on some family tree software, dating all the way back to the 12th century...pretty crazy.

I feel pretty stupid that I can't determine whether you're serious or not. That quote is pretty wild.

Anyway ... Italy, Latvia, and somewhere along the old German-Russian border for me.
